Well at least now alot of coolers have their fins soldered to the heatpipes.

Then a stock cooler is a good cooler too perhaps.

Zalman tends to be expensive and has a good build, but performance wise not recommended.

I could OC my E6320 to 3.2GHz and yet my stock cooler is sufficient. Replacing my stock cooler with a Zalman shows almost no major temp difference. Currently using a Thermalright Ultra-120 Extreme. It costs roughly couple of 10 ringgit more but performs alot better. Even my ex cheaper CM Hyper TX performed better.

did noctua change the fan rubber mounting kit as well?

i just love the rubber mounting kit. 0 noise generated.

hell with this metal tensioning bracket, like TR using, may lead to more
noise......

Which rubber mounting? The Noctua heatsink doesn't has any noise reduction mounting for the fan.
