QUOTE(butthead012 @ Feb 3 2008, 01:47 AM) HIS HD3870 iceq turbo: doesn't this come with a screw driver with led? I got the card from him during the 1st batch of stock arriving M'sia. The same HIS HD3870 IceQ 3 Turbo Edition and yeah, I did got that handy screwdriver set with led flash light. Pretty useful especially you need to see some "dark" spot in your casing i got my package from ZhenWei but inside dont have it??? other users can confirm that it comes with the screw driver with led? picture taken from nles set: [attachmentid=392588] |

BTW, anyone still experiencing the problem like the screen blackout while playing Crysis?
I keep on monitoring my gpu temperature and fan duty using RivaTuner while playing the game. My max temperature when gpu at load is around 70~72C with fan running at 70%. I wouldn't think 70C+/- would be too hot for a gpu at load? It is really a little bit pissed off when you're enjoying shooting and bombing in Crysis when suddenly the screen blackout and force you to do a restart Anyone experiencing the same? Would it be the graphic card problem or driver? |

Well, for me... the screen (my LCD) went blank totally while my rig still running. However, all the responses such as LAN activity and keyboard & mice control all halted. Forced to do a RESET upon my rig to restart the machine And can you post your problem here: http://forums.amd.com/game/categories.cfm?catid=279 And fill this ATI catalyst feedback here: http://support.ati.com/ics/survey/survey.a...ID=486&type=web

OC my GC to 850 core clock and 1250 mem....100% fan... Under full load the temp stays at 52c??? Amazing....im using rivatuner hardware monitoring... I can get a very very smooth fps if turn off post-processing and game effects....i leave volumetric at very high. hello all....
just bought his 3870 iceq turbo yesterday. I have some problem wanna ask about. I'm using acbel e2 510w. The card runs ok, but cannot oc it even for a little bit. For example, when I set core to 860, it started to black out when playing Oblivion. I mean, it's only 10mhz increment for god's sake! This is using the 8.1 downloaded from the internet. But after I uninstalled and cleaned the driver, I tried the driver from the cd. This time, Ati overdrive pushed the core n mem 890/2570 Again, when playing Oblivion, screen corrupts instantly, but when playing witcher, halfway, then hang. Does this has something to do with insufficient power? Or a shi**y mobo? Cos mine is PCChips, which could only oc my e2140 to a shameful 1.7ghz Or maybe the driver? my rig is 1gb + 512mb ddr2, e2140, 1 hdd, 1 dvd writer. |
