Thought the car now comes with fsd @ frequency selective damping,no?
*
Ah, FSD is commonly used to describe Full Self-Driving. As for your FSD, the current Model 3's suspension improves significantly compared to the old Model 3. Ride handling and comfort is what alot of Model 3 will notice.

Type 2 cables were never given to owners during collection day, only the wall connector.

I think the first few batches of the Model 3 owners who collected their car in 2023 and maybe early 2024 got the free Type 2 cable. I picked up my car on 9th December 2023 and there was a Type 2 cable placed in my trunk.

I'm using the Mennekes Type 2 cable from the Tesla e-shop. Mennekes is the developer of the Type 2 plug, you know that they are the industry standard when it comes with it. While I don't say that those Lazada/Shopee ones are bad, but you don't know what fail safe it comes with.

Now if you ask me if it is needed, chances are no. I have only used it a handful of times. Mostly at KLCC Gentari charging at Premium parking as it give free charge. Genting Premium outlet gave away free charge as well but its been down for a while. You'd be better with a UMC instead.

Yes. The cheapest rate. Others charge at 1.50/kwh.

At this current DC charging speed - Tesla Superchargers is definitely the cheapest in Malaysia at the moment.

Not so soon, but we are targeting sometime in 2025. Tesla is required by the Malaysia Gov to open up 30% of current Supercharger to non-Tesla EV to charge, but at a higher rate.

By comparing with BYD within similar price points, I'd assume you're referring to the BYD Seal. These are the reasons why I picked a Model 3 over a Seal:

Lighter in weight and more agile, better handling, best in class one pedal mode, better efficiency, faster charging speed, availability of supercharger network, no scheduled maintenance, frame-less windows, much better audio system, larger trunk & frunk, superior software & UI (it's like current iOS vs Android from 2010s), superior ADAS system, future-proof on full self driving capabilities and so on

I charged my tesla at tesla supercharger yesterday night. However there is no charging history in my tesla app till now and also there is no transaction charge to my credit card that set as default payment in my tesla app. Any idea why? Note: This is my first time charging with tesla supercharger.

I believe their system got problem, somehow happen after they reduce the charging price to RM1.13/kWh, not sure if anything to do with that. But the total charging cost is there on car screen but somehow not in the app and ya, not charge to credit card yet.

When Seal was announced in February, all my colleagues asked why I didn't wait for Seal "The Model 3 killa"...

So I visited the showroom on the weekend for test drive, I parked my Model 3 Long Range a bit further away but yeah the sales person still saw me la.

So he offered me a test drive, but only the RWD was available... so I took it for a test drive and conclusion... given the choice I will still pick Model 3 over Seal. My preference... my money my choice drool.gif . Well some people may like otherwise but hey its their money their choice.

- One Pedal Driving
- No need for start button like ICE car
- Firmer suspension system
- Linear pedal response
- I like simple interior rather than the airplane cockpit of Seal
- If I recalled correctly... Seal's steering is a tad bigger in diameter and thinner grip.. I love Model 3's smaller diameter and thicker grip.

drool.gif how many TDC?

I don't mind paying for TSC, however the problem is... it is so far that I need to hunt around for another car park after my car is done sad.gif which can be quite a hassle.

Got once I recalled I arrived early to Pavillion, then I gonna be jalan2 around so I parked at the row opposite TSC... then just before leaving I need to move my car to TSC, charge... and then baru leave. Haiya...
