Headlamp, windshield, someone even stuck it on their bumper..
TBH I've just stuck to SmartTag myself, so can't comment on what works best.

I bought a RFID holder 2 layers to stick it on windscreen from inside, tested and no issue when passing thru RFID gate. This is the best solution, the RFID can be moved and not easy spoil

I don't think that a 20 year old car will fetch and value that a used car dealer will accept. You are free to try (PM me to learn how).

bro, pm-ed... interest to know how the 0% installment work, apart from picking the car from inventory + 10% down payment, what is the longest loan tenure i can get for a Model 3 RWD?

For all who are anxiously waiting for car to arrive from Shanghai, I somehow managed to find this website which allows you to key in the VIN, which will tell you which ship your car is on and potential arrival dates into Malaysia.

Add back the taxable % from your AP form lor. About 70-80k for 190k M3LR white color... if I recalled correctly.

Not sure on the price side, but interest rates will definitely be back to normal rates - you are looking at 2% for flexi and 2.3 for fixed.

For 0%, you have to pick from our inventory. After that, its a 10% downpayment with a 5 year loan with Maybank. Public Bank or Hong Leong. Longest tenure is 9 years with 0.88%, 0.48% if you are looking at 7 years.

Good points for landed house owners to consider installing solar panels

QUOTE(yeapsc73 @ Nov 16 2024, 11:41 AM)
Question too general.

Anyway, before this, my fuel and electricity total 550 per month

Now I pay 380 per month solar installment for 5 years. Zero fuel. Zero costs after 5 years.

Can I ask, for those who retrofitted the JPJ e plate, is it possible to install the windshield rfid sticker with qr code on a holder, before sticking on the windscreen?

Just in case windscreen cracked, need to replace next time…

There was news about those holders with 2 suction... those suction acted as a magnifying glass which burns the dashboard.

Thanks for the recommendation. I am researching between ceramic and metallic based tint, but worry about signal degradation there are sort of RF communication. Any mobile signal degradation or noticeable dropping in navigation or streaming performance?

Phone signal and GPS no issue. Just Smart Tag need to open window and point outside.

because smart tag is using old tech, infrared signal. if u take premium tint which blocked 97% to 99% IRR, it balance of 1% for the tag signal, hence majority of time it will failed. yeah some new tech on the tint nowadays can make the tag work even at high IRR% rejection, but again it still not smooth as without tint or using low IRR rejection tint.

that why some shop helps by doing some holes at the windscreen tint for the tag to work better

My own experience following speed limit with SR from Puchong(100%) to Sunway Carnival(20%).
No topup required until Sunway Carnival SuperCharger.

Thanks for your feedback. Anyways, during your journey how's the weather? Rainy or sunshine? How's the traffic? Are you travel alone or with family members? Sorry if too many question, just thinking & make some research before proceed with it. I have test both standard & long range. Lastly, what is the range if you charge 100%?

For new car, it shows 438km (EPA rated) on the range display.

It's very accurate (~95%) in term of real world usage.
