Its it better to go with more protein and vegetables portion and have less rice for better nutrition diet

Because most malaysian food is 80% carbo

Would be better with 50% protein and 25 + 25 carbo and veggies

Which malaysia food got such ratio?

Order chicken rice need double portions chciken but still give 1 plate rice and 1% veggies like cucumber

most malaysian would love 100% carbs.

i think not by choice also, protein is expensive, carbs are cheap, taste good and keep you full.

Night time dinner time don't take rice
Do this one month. You'll see the difference.

I just finished my night jog.
Making 4 biji half boil eggs for dinner now.

Then learn to eat small portion

I notice many people eat big portions and still complain not full.
I used to be like this at one time.
Until one day I train myself to eat 50% of the usual portion. First few weeks was tough, all mental.

Just like my dinner now, I eat 4 biji half boil eggs only and fry some veges.

Grilled veggies i minat lah. Lazy do outdoor except weekends, so play microwave w grill function. Lately discovered grilled corns from Thailand, nice.

More like track calories. It's a important skill, magic some people would say, to control your body weight to go up or down.

Just don't eat like an asshole is a better tip I can give.

Just eat in moderation if you are not working out. Too much protein also no use if u are not working out. Will lead to fat

Pondans so scared of carbs.


My dinner on average is about 100g rice, 200g meat and 50g veg.
Lunch - don't care, it's what ever i please. Usually fast food or hawker food.

Ayam stop eating rice for more than 8 months and ayam also lazy to exercise but ayam still can lose 10 kg. now rice is not my main food, enough wheat bread and vegetables. After this mission stop eating chicken and meat.

Kek those 100% protein will die early. Already proven Japanese and Chinese live so long on carbs. Why die die must act like protein> carbs? Unless you want to build body, you should always include carbs in your diet. Balance meals and exercise more.

In my opinion, chapfan provide the best value. Smaller rice portion + meat + vege. Even angmoh meals cannot beat such balance meal.

A better ratio of macro will be 60-70% fat, 30-35% protein, <5% carbs. This is what I am doing currently.

Carbs are cheap, that's why eating out is cheap, and is also unhealthy.

Some jokers will tell you things like "oh but cholesterol and LPS!", but they don't look at the data where the lipid-heart hypothesis by Ancel Keys had been debunked.
