currently relying on N95 GPS blush.gif
i tried older holux GPS module before, utilizing SIRF III, it's good. new model like M1000 are better in accuracy, locking speed and battery life.

someone already soldered a CF to IDE on the eeepc, using the CF card as flash HDD for eeepc.

High speed CF card can achieve about 45MB per second constantly, about 0.5ms access time, which is faster than lot's of hdd access time which are about > 10ms access time.

it depends. smile.gif there are a few categories. you can get the info from the internet. slower speed about 26MB/s read, medium speed about 100MB/s Read/Write, Super Fast NAND flash about 200MB/s read 100MB/s Write. but the price will be about USD3000 or more for a mere 32GB of data. smile.gif that is current market price, not sure maybe tomorrow will be price drop. biggrin.gif
