I think it's the AC adaptor issue.... since it's only 22W. Charging the Eeepc while its on brings it very close to the 22W limit.

I tested the "free version" from PC 2 PC,not bad at all,only sometimes(quite seldom) got lag a echo a bit.Now thinking of "paid version" to make call to Mobile & House Phone.


If not mistaken,i saw in previous page of this forum stated u can "test" ur battery with some applications which will show the "actual" capacity of the battery,sometimes juz labeling issue.Anyway,i remembered read somewhere saying the new batch of Eee with webcam come with only 4800mAh due to shotage of battery...

Not really test the actual time charging from 20% to 100% but it take about 2 - 3 hours for fully charge my Eee.

my eee takes about 2.5-3hrs to fully charged (power off).

Added on April 7, 2008, 11:12 ami read somewhere is due to the driver prob, i had updated the REALTEK driver to R1.9 and its working fine now... no more echo prob at the moment

Update: I checked on the 7800mah battery link posted a couple page back. They only have it in white

again, that 7800mAH can last for how long wor.. mine 4400 lik less than an hour of surfing + installation

Sniper: how much is the battery for 7800mhz battery? im more interested to get 10400mhz battery, but if really cant get, might switch to 7800mhz. mine is white colour eee pc with webcam. u live in Taipei? maybe can help us here to bulk purchase some accesories

vailance,read previous page on this thread and some forumer had the same issue like yours.1 hour battery life is really too short la,with 5200mAh can reach 2 hours + for normal surfing.

from what i got from the internet, 2nd is still using celeron, but slower speed 800mhz only. only the later version. maybe 3rd generation will use the Atom processor, well, more power saving, but performance almost same as 900Mhz celeron.

It's not a merom lar.. Diamondville processor lar. I feel like changing to a MSI Wind. The prices out di... same as the Eeepc 7" price from what I can see.

You are right. The new batch all come with the 4800mAh and not the 5200mAh ones.
