saw a twinhead laptop sized like an eeepc but not sure the exact model number.selling for 1699 at mvaley.it runs on AMD and have 20GB memory if i'm not mistaken.so juz wanna ask if its worth buying this twinhead compare to eeepc?

hows the build quality?

well from a review i think the batt life does not last long... but i don really like twinhead laptops... they cause lots of problems... in fact i using 1... the old model... had sent in 3 times for repairs n now the LCD cant stand straight anymore and the CDROM is out also not to mention some weird overheating problem with the RAM and the fan died at least once..... terrible !!! (no offend to twinhead fans)

i think your pagefile is still on. that's why you have so little space left. disable pagefile and also, how much RAMs you have? if you have 1/2GB...you can create a RAMdisk and put internet explorer/firefox cache and cookies there so that it won't take any more space from your SSD. there's a guide in this thread...a few pages back i think.

It's a Geode. The same thing used in a embedded stuff and the Kohjinsha. It's uber slow

hp also coming out umpc. casing made of aluminium. dont when will release

slower than kohjinsha?
i played with the black kohjinsha in sg last time , seems ok la hiccups expected as it is using vista

the Vista version is using Intel McCastlin platform ler.

XP version is the one with the AMD

btw, where is Kohjinsha from ? n from which company is it ?

Kohjinsha as the name implies is from Japan lar. Made by Inventec.

amd even sempron only work fast with da latest 780 chipset.

well, since the twinhead laptop got a bad respond here, i'll stick to buy eeepc..

mraz: if you got the budget, get kohjinsha, otherwise, eee pc is good choice. bcos for eee pc, when u add RAM + 8gb SDHC / 16gb and window original, it cost about the same as kohjinsha already, and kohjinsha the haddisk is 100GB, worth more.

im using eee pc, for me, it is more than enough, just secondary laptop for me, i got few laptops already. this one is for mobile only.

eee pc with webcam is good deal i should say, rm1299. some ppl say the newer version 8GB cost rm1899 or 1999, this is not a good price i guess.

hey mraz.. i cant get u the eee at the moment soli... u can go all IT get it 1299 i think.. eee is gd only if use as secondary notebooks or for business use.. it would not be advisable to use UMPCs as main notebook.

but most ppl attracted to eee pc due to size and weight
i would go for kohjinsha too , although a little bit more expensive
design and built wise slightly better than eee pc

mind to share what's the market price for kohjinsha series now? Got any below or near to 2k?
