Hi all the Eee PC user,

Good day smile.gif

I'm very interested to get one Eee PC, but i have some questions and i hope everyone here can contribute to clarify my doubts. thank you so much.

1. What is the reasonable selling now at KL/PJ? Where can I get it please? Both 4g with and without web camera.

2. Has the 8GB version launch in Malaysia? If yes then what is the selling price now? thank you.

3. Can I upgrade the RAM to 1GB? If yes where can I do it and how much it cost please? thanks.

4. Can I upgrade the harddisk to maybe 8GB or sth? I saw online got ADATA 8GB SDHC specially for Eee PC, is this the only way to upgrade the harddisk?

5. I know it can install Window XP and Microsoft Office and Antivirus? If yes, where can I get these 3 programs and how to do it? Is it the same as normal laptop? thanks.

I wish to get the reply from everyone and Happy Chinese New Year.

If this suitable for me then i will get one for sure, maybe Black colour, not so easy get dirty.

thank you very much

i plan to get one Eee PC, so i might upgrade it to 1GB RAM and buy one 8GB SDHC, so now doing some survey, hehe

actually im now considering Kohjinsha also, the SA series selling at RM2299 only ler, some more 100GB hardisk, got bluetooth, touchscreen.

so now thinking Eee PC better or Kohjinsha better, any comment? thanks

yaya, i bought them at one set, so i dunno wat is the price for IBM external drive.

i dunno how to describe the shop la, i only know how to go there. mm.... from Timesquare, there is one bridge tat connect to the lowyat plaza direction, before that bridge, u will see one shop selling bags only. go in to that shop, turn left, then u should be able to see this bag hanging there.

i should say good buy la this bag. fit everything nicely.

by the way, can anyone here advice me what is page file? wat is the benefit of turn it off and turn it on? thank you so much.

mraz: if you got the budget, get kohjinsha, otherwise, eee pc is good choice. bcos for eee pc, when u add RAM + 8gb SDHC / 16gb and window original, it cost about the same as kohjinsha already, and kohjinsha the haddisk is 100GB, worth more.

im using eee pc, for me, it is more than enough, just secondary laptop for me, i got few laptops already. this one is for mobile only.

eee pc with webcam is good deal i should say, rm1299. some ppl say the newer version 8GB cost rm1899 or 1999, this is not a good price i guess.
