coz b4 i run the game for the first time, it ask me dwnload those things first , if not it will lag

Ok, i've cleaned the thread of warez talks. I've issued warnings to some, but I'll let it slide for others.

after a while when they come out from the prison then then errors pops up and crashes

i see none error... but the game keep crashing to desktop.
everytime the game shutter (looks like loading something heavy scene) then the game sudden crash back to desktop.
everytime is random..

wats wrong?

i hav tried lastest drivers.. latest live game.


btw.. my pc is amd64 3200, 7600gt display, 1gb ram, win xp pro sp2.. requirement is met.

i play the game on vista. no problem watsoever. mayb it needs vista?

finally I can play GOW after installing windows live update

this game is a bit laggy, unreal tournament is much clearer eventho they r using the same engine..

I'm on Vista too, but the game crashes waaay too often unless i use Dx10 rendering. It was smooth sailing with Dx9 (and better performance too) until the scene at the Fenix estate when the team first encountered the Brumak. The moment Jack appears on screen i get some C++ error and the whole game locks up.

wow then that card going 2 cost a lot >< since dx 10 is still new

but if u have any high end dx9 card is good enuf.7900gs is gd enuf

2600xt vs x1950

i c a lot of ppl comparing this both card and ppl r saying x1950 is better
and the price gap aren't that big ><

so rite now im haivng a tough choice deciding it haih...

Hmm.. My GoW rarely crash, just a couple of times since I installed it. But the stuttering is damn annoying! Setting texture to medium have no effect, just crappy graphics. Playing in XP is the best, smooth all the way.

try update some new hotfix from M$ that related to graphic eg. i need to install KB95(forget no) to play hellgate demo. Now all game play look fine

I uninstall omega driver, n everything going fine..no crash,but noticed some slightly lag than before

will try rivatuner n see the difference
