Arrived a few days ago, so far speed decent
Attached Image

RM520N-GL, SD X62 modem on U Home 5G, no mods, stock firmware, stock hardware.

Supportd Debian/OpenWRT/Android
Mainly is running a heavily modified OpenWRT image with custom front-end.

For 1.4k, it's probably one of the decent options that isn't locked down, runs a bit hot but that's expected since it has a full metal housing except the front which is plastic for signal reception.

Will post a few more screenshots after, but so far I like it. nod.gif

Got the sim card on last Sunday 25th June once saw the ads of plan. Reason to replace my current Unifi Air which is totally rubbish.

Only 4G band28 works around 30-50mbps, rest band below 1mbps. 5G was great as well 300mbps.

How gaming with band 28? Im using yes flexi and lag when gaming. Need to change to band 40 but it will eat my lte data quota

Hi guys, I’m planing to sign up u home 5g but it’s no provide any router. Can recommend any router that cost between rm200 or max rm300? Coz I just planing to use 1 year, didn’t wish to spend too much money on the router.

For that budget you will NOT be getting a 5G router
So, you'll have to go with a 4G Router which unlike Yes, U Mobile does allow you to use with 4G so no problem there

Personally I'll go with something from a reputable brand like TP-Link or D-Link and avoid those turbo gt900+++ ones that are kinda sketchy
And maybe also consider Tenda and Mercusys

For that price range, you'll be getting a basic 4g router without any of the fancy features like aggregation for faster speeds
So, realistically, expect roughly 30Mbps as what you will get

For those using this Home 5G plan, are you able to host a webserver, and is it double NAT?

It's basically LTE/5G, not fibre where you'll get a "private" public IP
