I also got a unit from lenkdtal and admin password was changed. When asked he told me to reset the modem and now admin password is working. Hope not lemon unit.

I can get speed up to 190Mbps at 4G though. 5G here no bar so...I've no complaint *yet*.

I have reset my previous N103e once before. In my case if you reset it, use the admin password printed on the label at the base of the modem and not the modified password provided by seller, then you need to input the APN manually

mine was received and admin / password is as per default under the router base sticker.

i used on YES 5G and manage to get very high speed of 700-800MB outside my house... but somehow for google TV there is problem accessing the likes of HBO and occasionally Disney Hotstar ..... hence i moved to U Home and it is much better now.

As for the router, it is okay so far, i dont intend to update or touch the firmware since it is working fine. Occasionally i can see the change of blue to green LED signify 5G>4G but that also happens on my mobile phone so i think the tower may be undergoing some setting.

but each time i do a speedtest the NR5103E never fails to max out speed above 200mb .. usually 400-500mb download ... so i am happy with this router. maybe i am one of the lucky ones and i hope i dont have problem in future. And for APN Yes 5g it was automatic, but U Home i have to update myself. and now locking on the B28 and N78 band ...

Yeacomm is using cheaper Mediatek T750 5G modem instead of Snapdragon X55?

Also costs double the price?

just able to grab the modem with extra discount from lazada...
will move from M broadband to 5G broadband after contract ends next year

better try few week before u cut ur fibre .. later any issue, ur family will be chasing you everyday to fix the internet ..

suggest to test the NR5103e unit if has any problem.

tested with 5G YTL sim, speed can be 300Mbps on LAN 1, LAN 2 is 100Mbps port speed, don't know why
just plug your switch to LAN 1 and good

phone tested with Maxis 5G with 500Mbps ++, going to buy some external antenna stuff and try again later

signal strength tested in the router is -95dBm, phone is -101dBm but even faster, probably phone is qualcomm chipset

i am using LAN 2 ... later will try LAN 1 if any difference ...

I bought it 6 months ago, back then less variety available. But if I look at the end result, no complain at all.

Qualcomm or Mediatek whatnot is not important, it the end result that is important.

OEM 5G modem, if you are talking those price below RM300, most probably they are the 4G LTE modem which has 5G wifi connectivity

I've seen some that says 4G/5G

They don't even support 5Ghz WiFi so there's literally no reason for "5G" to be on the device at all

I think at the very least you need ~RM500 on sale day to get a true 5G router

Arcadyan aw1000. Not suggesting for beginner as its using modded open wrt firmware. But speed much higher. Can get 300Mbps constantly. Sometime 400. With low 5G signal. If me i would go olax or gteniq. Much user friendly
