QUOTE(wanttobuylaptop @ Aug 25 2023, 10:48 PM) Do not get yes gateway Nothing less than Mediatek or Snapdragon X55 for me.I repeat, do not get yes gateway I did some research b4 and went to see the real thing Its definitely the cheap 5g router that cost ard 500 in shopee, using unisoc Zxyel would be way better than that. Please consider the chipset that is use in the router instead of brand name Mediatek t750 or sd x55/62/65 should have no problem matching phone speed, and would definitely beat phone during stress test and heavy load Yes 58 no contract, if anyone interested should really try it la After all i didnt use yes sim in router to confirm if the funny behaviour also exist in yes 58 Seriously la, 60ish include sst, anyone still remember itu rahmah package also cost rm60? Wish UM would make more add on selection. Like RM10 for 200GB or Rm15 for 400GB for folks who accidentally salah budget quota. Not really worth taking rm30 add on for 1-7 day usage or for me 12 hours before the new bill cycle 😅 countdracula liked this post

I went and see the gateway and see it rated for 2.++gbps when they first launch their 148 broadband last year, while quectel rg500 should be rated 4.67Gbps |

Subscribed to this U Home plan since last month, no 5G coverage/not using 5G phone or router.
Non- peak hours average 15-20mbps Peak hours (7pm-12am) 2-5mbps, TV box keep buffering. Waiting for news about Unifi plan being cheaper before cancelling this plan. |

Guys. Need help.
My parents live right in front of 5G tower and I’ve tested the 5G speed in their house with my iphone 14 pro max on maxis postpaid. Its about 900 - 1200Mbps. If I use this umobile home plan, the speed will be the same for the whole 1TB quota? Whats the best modem/router to use to get this speed? |
