Averaging 100mbps.
96mbps is lowest out of like 10 tests.
Try a week see how while survey a cpe.
So far either that 3 logo cpe or tp link x50 5g.

I'm got three version of MC801A(X55 CPU), receiption better than IV510 CPU unit (VN7000+), temperature ~50 Celsious at Non Aircon Room, working great achieve ~450MBps DL, 50Mbps DL. downside is firmware version B12 can't lock band...

Just pre-order TP Link x50 5G on lazada, only 1 seller. It is packed, should be arriving in 2 days.
The reason I try to avoid those UK telco CPEs because you hardly see firmware version upgrade.

TP Link is more reliable in my opinion.

of course usb to ethernet will works better than usb tethering to router because usb tethering very depends on the router cpu performance, not just the usb port theoretical speed.

btw, your lan cable is cat 5e above and usb adapter is gigabit or not? why just fetch u 100mbps result? i suppose able to hit 300mbps.

nope…5G cpe is still too expensive for me.

Ya, my cable and the lan adapter is limited to 100mbps, u r korek.
Simply make use of what i having right now only.
Will buy proper cable and lan adapter.
But not sure my rt68u wan port is how fast, later google.

I tend to avoid reading non reputable sites for reviews.
That blacktubi i just read, lots of text but missing many info. Like says qualcomm chip but no say which chip. Like review car say proton but no say which proton. Also these review site have many stuff to review, probably haven even test properly they already move on to other stuff.
I trust end users who actually use the stuff day to day better.

I am using x50-4g for two years, 0 firmware update.
They dont really update their mobile internet line up. Check tplink forum you will see some complain too.
Perhaps they will change for 5g?
