Max temperature in thermal runaway for LFP Blade is only 60C.

Normal LFP is 404C.

NMC and NCA are over 900C.

Hoe about BYD blade battery? Prolonged Park under sun can explode?
*
Lithium batteries don't explode - they simply burn. You are far more likely to see car explosions at petrol stations:

Most likely reason why lithium batteries burn is when they are short-circuited, such as when they are dented or punctured. The blade design is to prevent cascading cell fires.

The so-called EVs that caught fires in China were mostly PHEV, plug-in hybrid electric vehicles, which have internal combustion engines (ICE) and batteries. BYD also makes some PHEV models.

PHEV are more prone to catching fires than ICE, probably because it has petrol and batteries.

ICE are more prone to fires than EV.

PHEV simply doesn't make sense any more now that EVs can be quickly charged using DC fast charger.

For such a fire battery/ controller case, how do we claim ?

Insurance? or warranty claim to the manufacturing?

Do the manufacturing warranty include such a defect for EV car?

If your family has multiple EV cars and no more space to park in the house, need to park outside the gate by the road. How to charge those cars? The longest charger cable available is only 25 ft right?

Wta does your otto 3 have something similar to tesla camp mode? Like if you sleep in your car and when it gets too hot the car will auto on air con to cool down the cabin?

If the answer is yes, do you know roughly 1 hour how much battery it will used up in our hot climate???

What are your thoughts on the cost of servicing your BYD car? Do you feel like it's reasonable for what they do during your "service" visits? I ask because I felt puzzled that an EV would cost this much to service every year. The only argument is that it's cheaper than ICE service. I mean sure, but why is BYD charging so much for an EV that supposedly has low maintenance?

Do you plan to do balik kg trips in ev? Or go holiday during peak season when everyone is on the road with ev? Is it visible?.With limited cheering bays and lots of ev want to use and long charging time.

What is the longest time you had to queue to use charger?

Extended range. The car really can do around 7.3sec to 100 but BYD tunes it in a way that its a smooth acceleration instead of push to your seat feeling
