Brake need servicing? Come on... If change battery coolant, still can understand but brakes? Even with regenerative braking, I dont think there is much to check anyway.

All car co; will comeout a lot of bullshit service item to get money. After service is good profit generates. Car selling profit is very less and some sell for loss.

For Malaysia, I hope japanese manufacturer continue improving their ICEngine efficiency for at least 10 yrs more

Within these 10 yrs PMX can force manufacturer to build ev charger station at 0 cost for malaysia
*
Japan will phase out ICE after 2035.

By 2035 we here probably have 20-30% of ICE

Everyone should have fire extinguishers at home, whether have EV or not. At least have those small mosquito repellent-sized fire extinguishers for fighting kitchen fires.

BYD Atto 3's battery is LFP type. This battery is far safer than NMC and NCA batteries, which is more prone to fires and also not advisable to charge up to 100%. LFP can be frequently charged to 100% without degradation.

QUOTE(trusol @ Aug 21 2023, 04:54 PM)
Yes, the current trend is LFP maybe because it is cheaper and lasts longer also. That's why Tesla using LFP batteries from CATL and BYD instead of Panasonic NCA batteries.

"What I understand is that the blade battery is designed by BYD to increase the energy density per unit volume. The disadvantage is that the internal resistance of the battery increases and the heat is more."

For such a fire battery/ controller case, how do we claim ?

Insurance? or warranty claim to the manufacturing?

Do the manufacturing warranty include such a defect for EV car?
