I forgot to watch Race 2. Race 1 won by Checa in his Ducati. Johnie Rae (Honda) took the lead up to half of the race before got over taken by Max Biaggi (Aprilia).. I think Johnie Rae used up his tyre on the first half of the race. He even gap out from 2nd rider close to 2sec. The last 5 laps were very tough. Ducati vs Aprilia. T Sykes, he is good on solo lap. But when racing, its hard to get the lines and being pressured by other riders. This year no Yamaha. Only Ducati, Aprilia, BMW, Suzuki, Kawa and Honda. |

QUOTE(monaz @ Jun 12 2012, 06:00 PM) Feel sorry about what happened to you. Cambodia As others mentioned, get your bike fully protected with frame slider, from front to rear. At least can minimized the damaged to the bike. Most important, you are okay now. Body parts can be repaired if only scratched or cracked. Most paint shop can do at cheap cost. For handle bar, depends how much it bend. Not advisable to re-straightened. Better get a new or aftermarket set like Rizoma Actually It is good to wear high quality race glove. Built safe not only during slide but also for impact. Safe ride always bro.. Added on June 12, 2012, 6:07 pm where on earth you are staying now? Comprehensive insurance is compulsory for new purchased bike. For used bike, 3rd party will cost usd100. But at the end, petrol is cheaper than a liter of drinking water Added on June 13, 2012, 12:30 pm QUOTE(kapalterbang_737 @ Jun 13 2012, 12:09 AM) where u live bro? refer post above anyway today's trackday..my first ever trackday with R1 and the first for this year too not really satisfied since i only managed to do about 10 laps more or less (i datang lambat forgot to wash the bike+lubricate the chain after 1015km of balik kampung journey since saturday..today straight go to Sepang » Click to show Spoiler - click again to hide... « so envy that u all can go track day, didnt own a sports bike back in msia then.. one day i gonna ride all the way down to sepang and try it out This post has been edited by icecolddamncold: Jun 13 2012, 12:30 PM |

QUOTE(masz94 @ Jun 13 2012, 01:44 AM) At first, when i saw ur crash story, i kept thinking.... Im already waiting for so long What if I crashed my Guzzi.... FFFUUU.... Parts are very2 rare... especially the bodyparts.... This kept bugging me now.... My Guzzi is almost ready... Hopefully no prob... Added on June 13, 2012, 1:01 pm QUOTE(kapalterbang_737 @ Jun 13 2012, 01:21 AM) When moving depends on speed but normally i get around 176-182 fahrenheit Standard specs is at 105 when the fan start kicking in. Your cruising temp seems normal too. When static especially at long traffic light stop it can reach up to 221 fahrenheit and after that the fan will kick in How is SIC on straight? U managed to go for top speed? Losail for me kinda short or Im being too slow at last turn to boost more power to straight. But going down from 290 to 100 for the hair pin turn 1 is really challenging. Really wanted to try SIC. Your knee slider looks off set until you scratch the velcro This post has been edited by monaz: Jun 13 2012, 01:01 PM |

QUOTE(icecolddamncold @ Jun 13 2012, 03:27 PM) The only authorised distributor for Arai goes by the name of Hung Hing Co.They have lots of Arais for you to choose from so long as it is a Asia/Japan specs. I picked up a RX7RR5 which is on sale for HKD4990. I had another 10% on top of the sale price as a friend had their discount card. For other apparels, they stock very limited Alpinestars stuff. I could only see some pouches, a handful of jackets and gloves. But if you are into karting, they have quite a number of selection from OMP. For apparels, I would recommend Moto Mart. Though I did not drop by due to time constraint - but was told that they have a super large collection of apparels. Listed price is the same with online prices as I was told. Hope this helps. |
