I might be wrong too. laugh.gif

The only bad thing bout TA690G is cannot drop voltage. Th rest are absolutely hot! Especially fo a m-ATX board. biggrin.gif

sorry to say , but low end asus mobo is just piece of s**t laugh.gif
ugly PCB colour , use all chaplang components most of the time and unocable bios on most of their low end mobo

and about TA690G , so far there are few cons that i know

1) voltage drop for the vcore and vdimm (max vdimm can set is 2.65v, but after dropping left 2.6v only sad.gif )
2) vdimm set to 2.3v , real vdimm go back to 1.9v sad.gif
3) clockgen can only be supported when u do some changes in PLL setup (is it one of the cons? laugh.gif)

but to me, they are just some minor bugs. In overall this mobo still damn solid for overclocking brows.gif

stock....with other fan...the stock fan 3krpm only...now i'm using 5krpm but same size and all...

not say too hot but always average 40 at idle and load 46-50

i totally agree with you, any Asus board which is below RM500 are pure garbage. Not to say they suck, but the only good boards they carry are mostly the high end board. Their value boards are one of the worst.
