bro -pws-

Please update mine. smile.gif

OC cant go higher due to 'sayurness' value ram. Even top up vcore to +0.050, i can up to 273 only. Soo better stick to 270mhz which is rock stable indeed. thumbup.gif

One thing i do not know bout OC skill is ram timing sad.gif . I only set the divider to ddr400(instead of default ddr667). Do u care to xplain a bit?? pleeaasseeee..

set my divider to 400 d...set command rate to 2T also...then i try oc back...just can get 2.95...when up to 3.0 cannot boot at all..it's my mobo@my ram???

Im having the same prob as you man. No need to play with ur vcore(for heaven's sake, ur using F3!! pakai default vcore pon bole cecah 3.0Ghz). It's just ur ram couldnt tolerate wit the speed anymore(eventho it is stil underclock). We both need to buy better ram la. huhu. icon_idea.gif

P/s: wonder why bro -pws- havent put me in the list after giving my details huhu. Maybe my OC result cap itik je kot. laugh.gif

sweat.gif ok. i know the risk. hahah. Ive done everything u told me aidy including the MAL value and trfc dimm 0. now wil try to start OC back. will update you my result later.

bro xixo.

I did wat u told me to do. I set the ram timing to 5-5-5-15-20-2T byusing ddr400 divider. I set trfc dimm 0 to 195 and MAL to 10. Then i push the fsb to 273(initially at 270) and i cant boot to windows. Then i push up vdimm to 2.05 but stil couldnt boot into windows. I figured out maybe need to pump some vcore and i gradually add up some vcore till +0.050 then baru bole get into windows. But the system wasnt stable and cant even do super pi 64k. I reduce the fsb to 272 but stil couldnt get a stable system running. Then i add up vcore to +0.075 using 272 fsb baru system stable a bit but fail at superpi 4m.

By looking at this result, what exactly resisting me from getting higher fsb?? rclxub.gif

ur mobo shudn't be limiting you bro...
either ur proc or ur ram...
do it urself by trial n error...
add sum vcore or vdimm till it's really stable...
gud luck bro...
*
I had just finished my trial and error session. Apparently, i think my ram is limiting me.

I tried to start OC back from scratch(fsb=200Mhz), this time i set the multiplier to 10 and the ram divider to ddr400 so that it becomes 1:1. Set ram to 5-5-5-15-20-2T trfc0=195 MAL=10.

Everything went smoothly indeed until i went more than 260 fsb. Note that my ram was also at 260Mhz. Even 261 fsb, super pi 512K pon x lepas. I played with vcore, vdimm nothing worked.

FYI, My last OC the ram cannot pass 260Mhz as well, no matter what i do. The ram is still in its underclocked state but cannot go higher.
So weird lah rclxub.gif . Rase cam nk campak my ram to loji tahi near my house mad.gif .

So i guess the highest i cud go with my proc and my stupid ram for the time being is 2835Mhz with Fsb 270 X 10.5. sad.gif

It might be divider issue.
How bout using 533 divider? Can pass 260 HTT??

-pWs-

Finally!! Managed to reach 3.1Ghz stable! rclxms.gif

After so many trials and errors, this is the best i cud get out of my system with current setup. It can go much higher, but didnt dare to add more vcore. Scared oredi. sweat.gif
Thanx A LOT to bro xixo_12. Without your help, i wouldnt be able to achieve this.
And now i managed to know a lot about ram timing due to own tweaking and your guide as well.
Thanx dude!! notworthy.gif

To bro -pws- ,

Please update my new OC result.
Thanx a lot. smile.gif

gaming is fine... but dun say it is stable... that's all
i guarantee sure got problem will happen if not fully tested but that speed at default vcore is fine..
thanks to F3
*
Dats not default vcore man. I added up 0.075V to the proc. Default vcore is at 1.296V for 4000+ brisby. I say it's stable bcoz it is la haha laugh.gif just kidding..

Might test this setup 24 hours later on. Now very2 malas to test it yet.

mine cant stable 3ghz..

thanx biggrin.gif
I think it's bcoz i did LOTS of trials and errors during my OC and eventually the chip becomes better hahah.. laugh.gif
Kinda funny bcoz initially i thot i had a very bad brisby. Cant even pass 2.6. That was the time i had not discovered ram timing yet.
Lots of thanx to bro xixo_12. He helped me with the timing. icon_rolleyes.gif

Go and download a software name memset on the net. I for got which version is latest tho. Then you will be able to change your ram timing in windows.
