yay...i'm new here...trying to OC my 4200+ ..

so far, now i'm using 2.5ghz and stable, 1.248v bus speed 229.5

lol..i just try to OC abit only...i will reduce everything back...
coz i havent get a nice psu and still using stock hsf...

so now just oc for fun only...

i'm actually scared that i will burn my proc only...thats why i didn't set higher voltage....and i used the software that comes with my mobo to overclock ._.

so whats the best voltage for my proc for air cooling?

bro i want to ask you something...i should trust cpu-z or my T-utility overclock software to check the voltage...coz both seems to be different

after i OC, my temp max goes to 30+ only

biostar tf7050-m2...the one u deal with pmmonkey is actually mine...

so if i trust the hardware monitor, what about cpu-z?

uhm i'm using v1.41...still different voltage from the hardware monitor

hardware monitor 1.280v....CPUZ 1.200v or 1.232v( jumps again and again...)

i got check bios but always didn't note down..then os boot already then i forgot whats the voltage...

yeah thats so damn true...i on abt 5 prime95 then wait awhile then the temp fly up 41degrees..then later i off all the prime95 the temp can drop to 30degrees within seconds and later few minutes to 25degrees

hmm u use fish pump, then got 1 water tank? then u put ice in it ah?

yesterday i was damn sad...i thought i burn my ram already...just 3 days old lol...yesterday after oc oc oc..i can reach 2.6 but then after that, suddently auto off and cant on back...then found out is the ram problem...tried reset bios..and everything still cant on, i even try every single slot...then just now i took a 512mb and put in here to use it temporary while test my 1gb at other computer...it sucessfully boot...then i was like...:swt:...then i take n put back my 1gb to my comp n try and it boots like normal....

actually what happen ah?

ur rig...why the mobo look like the one i'm using?

for the biostar tf7050-m2 mobo how to check the nb temp?i feel the nb very hot la...i change from the normal one to those normal black graphic card cooler and add 50mm fan on it...

now i add a fan to my nb already...the fan too big so i cut the 'frame' out then use abit tack to stick below there...works fine




this morning abt 4-5am i add 0.175v to the core and bus speed 235, others stock(multiplier is 11) and i got 2.585ghz..stable and cool...

then i try with x10 the bios keeps on going to safe mode and cannot do anything

if all the settings i never disturb, i change only the bus speed to 225, boot but after turn on 2 prime95 and wana open cpuz, auto shutdown...

i really geram sometimes lol...press the button then cannot then i will press power button den cannot again sometimes i even press 2 together lol

i wan dual..but wait first la..now no $ yet...

when multiplier is x10, i put bus speed to 230 only...also cannot boot...i tried to reset soooooooo many times =(

so far so good la...havent try hardcore gaming...i share ram with graphics..so graphic is 512mb and my other memory is 768mb

hmm anything wrong with my setup?? y cannot complete super pi?

at first oc till 2.69ghz...then i want to try 2.7 but bsod..then i reduce bus speed cannot then i reduce again still cannot..now is 240 x11...use stable and temp at idle is 25...load is abt 30-40 not sure...
