QUOTE(Yggdrasil @ Feb 6 2024, 06:53 PM)
Higher pay -> higher skilled -> higher tax -> greater potential contribution to SG -> higher your chances of getting PR
If your parents have roots in SG, higher chance for you to get PR lor. Also, to discriminate if you are not Chinese.  icon_idea.gif

If my aunt gets Singapore citizenship, and my brother and his wife also receive Singapore PR approval, do I have a high chance of getting Singapore PR approval too?

Not sure if they maintain a family tree database that deep.. IIRC, one of the questions asked during PR application is whether your parents born in Singapore or something.

Not really, it won't help your cause if you're above 21 years old.

1994

Maybe that time the world's geopolitical landscape is unstable. Some religious groups also have individuals who disrupt peace and stability.

Just sharing that my PR was recently approved. Letter was dated 6 Feb 2024. I applied on 3 Jul 2023 so I guess it took me around 7 months.

EP. I did not update my letter of increment although I received a $1.17k increment.

However, I did update my address in the HDB website after I moved. The previous landlord did not register me in the website. Not sure if it plays a role.
