Rize seems to be imposing limits on my single transaction transfers.

Tried to transfer 35k to my own account with MBB saved as favorite, but it was rejected, tho my transfer limit is 50k.

Split the 35k into 2 transfers both below 30k, no problem going through.

Think they should at least call me to explain the matter.

Are they having liquidity or reserves issues for the upcoming mass withdrawals

out of curiosity, when payout they count based on unit available right?. Price of the unit is same everyday. But do they count available unit per day/month.
I think is count based on last payout day on available unit

ASM earning always calculated by [ (Interest announce rate) / 12 ] * Lowest amount of balance over the month.

Eg. if they declare 12% interest , so 1% per month.

In the month, you have starting balance of 10k, withdraw 2k (Balance : 8k) , then topup 4k (Balance 12k) = 8k is considered

If you start with 10k, topup 4k , withdraw 2 k = 10k is considered

In short, that particular month that you deposit , the extra money you deposit earns no interest

Don't think so ..
Personally i felt Rize is just a side project to lure big timer to their main bank...
You deposit large money enough you will get the call...

I don't really trust. why don't they leverage on existing system rather than ask to open another ACC. all they can do is provide like fd services. then we decide our own.
feel like scammer. don't expect bank do this

Rize no lock in and interest paid monthly which is very liquid for customers but for them to do that they need to have cash reserves lying around and not profiting so how would they pay us 4%.

RM20 if not mistaken.

but if Rize decided not to continue the 4% p.a. rate,
i think the question more relevant is how to close account. whistling.gif whistling.gif

Yea, I would think the more relevant question is how to close the account if Rize discontinue 4% P.A

if want to sever ties with the bank, terminate all the accounts

dont leave it unattended

banks will still need to adhere to the Unclaimed Monies Act

that is very bad doh.gif doh.gif

imagine if they chose not to continue the 4% p.a.

how long would it takes for account closure and to get back the final RM20.

do BNM have any guidance or timeline where bank must process closure of account within x period?
