really sus. proceed with caution. Most of the time agent will mention it will riding on tm/allo or own infra, example mine CD fiber under allo infra get rm50 rebate every month
other way is ask someone from your place that using CD fiber. which infra they riding to be safe

if under allo then should be okay as I also under allo. If possible take under CD Digi fiber, CD under celcom fiber has some upstream issue. trust me, you wont regret to select digi than celcom as home fiber

normally you can ask agent or walk to CD outlet to check. Your address will mark under riding Allo if any
example mine check on 2024 at CD outlet

I have done installed new CD fiber in my place. satisfied with the speed but speedtest cannot reach more than 1gbps. don’t know if it is limitation on the ONT ethernet port or the GPON itself

sometimes there is problem with whatsapp though 😂. keeps connecting.

if your place is covered by allo infra, please take the CD fiber offer

940mbps? That’s the limit of gigabit Ethernet port due to TCP overhead

But the ONT they provide is gigabit, no? Both has to be 2.5G supported, or it’ll negotiate at gigabit speed.
The only one providing 2.5G ONT is Maxis I think. With the skyworth unit.

Do you think it is better to get another router from CelcomDiGi or recommend another router that can configure the VLAN required for CelcomDiGi fibre?

what router are you using rn? ex510?

generally, any aftermarket router will be better than the isp provided router
