You'all are not the only one here... just imagine that those you're in this forum are those who can voice it out.... what about the thousands who are not into forums or doesn't know the existence of LYN.... hmm.gif

But the bottomline is that I think Maxis has increase their P2P blocking to a higher level... however last nite was shocking... I manage to do 180KBps for 2 hours (3am till 5am, according to the log) and then "Ka-put" it drops to 5KBps in matter of seconds... this confirmed prasys explaination on how "THEY" are handling the P2P connections (QoS) and stuff....

Again , P2P is blocked. No matter what you do it will be blocked. So its useless..I am telling you

Go and get a torrentflux account or go get a VPN Service

Better invest on a torrentflux account if you are a heavy torrent user. Thats my advice..I am doing that now

Hi, i no longer need this broadband as i have registerd for a faster one. I am using 384kb maxis wireless broadband. I am willing to give it away for free, but they charge a RM50 fee to transfer the modem to its new user. Thats the only thing you will need to pay.

Interested? Contact me and we can get over with it fast.

Regards,

I'm in PJ SS2. The speed of the Maxis Wireless here can be considered strong, but in the morning and afternoon only. after 6pm, the modem will transform into 56K modem  doh.gif

I got one fren staying near the firestation opposite of KDU college, speed also bout the same like mine.

Hope this can help. icon_question.gif

Here is the speedtest for ur ref. icon_rolleyes.gif

I have tested with my fren laptop and the result is the same, and i tried with different data card too.

I am an Internet2go user.

They compress for Internet2Go users. There is nothing much you can do. Use the other thread , its geared more towards Internet2Go

Both are different systems btw

On pages where you want to see the images in better quality, perhaps hitting Ctrl-F5 to force refresh the page will help?

I know, as i mentioned b4, VPN helps but as you hit a certain period with high speed.... *bam*.... the entire connection drops to an unimaginable level (the signal strength remains MAX). I've seen this happening for a couple of times. Speechless....

I'm surfing for a possible explaination somewhere in this WORLD WIDE WEB... but i must say... Maxis P2P security is comparable with those in UK and FRANCE.... top notch!
