i just received my E220 with unlimited package. im staying at desa tasik, bandar tasik selatan. but this is what i got...




even not up to 384kb... any comments?

im sitting at near windows and found out i got 3 bars of HSDPA.. this is the results of speedtest.net



i also check maxis websites and yup.. my area is supported for hspda. but i live at 8th floor. could that be the caused? im thinking of getting downstairs and try the speedtest again..

anyway, how many bar should i get in order to get a 1.8mbps? thanks...

from the speedtest i can manage to get 45kbps download, and 30kbps upload... its a way too far from 384kbps that i should get... i dont understand, i can get 3 bar of hspda but the speed is very dissappointing...

i got this e220 from my company to enable me to tunnel to my office servers.. but with the speed, i dont think my vpn would work well.... very dissappointing... eh, no maxis technical personnel in lowyat.net aaa?!?! how come this kind of things happen???

as far as i know, your connection will be encrypted or masked. but some im pretty sure they are using sort of security appliances on the internet gateway such as Intrusion Prevention System. some of the IPS can "read" the encrypted packet and definitely catch you if u used torrent or they detected that u are a heavy downloader...

anyone have an idea how to express our dissapointment to this maxis? i have been using this so called hsdpa for only 3 days.. but really dissapointed with the services.. crap one la... if its mine, surely ill return back everything already...

this is what i get after complaining for the past 2 days

i did call them everytime my connection sux.. and im using the one that have been provided by my company. i spoke to the account manager about the speed. and he did ask me to lodge a report because he can use the call log to enhance the connection at my area (i dont know how true it will be. maybe just a sweet talk.. hmm). we subscribes for 50 users. its a big account over here. he should stick to what he said. otherwise, we'll jump to the other ship..

guys, have u guys ever crossed over the 3GB limit per month? does they charge you for the over limit issue? i have friend that keeps on downloading from rapidshare everyday using e220 modem.. but im afraid of extra charges...

mine at bandar tasik selatan was quite good. now can get 3G speed more stable. and last nite i managed to get hsdpa with constantly downloading at 120kbps for about an hour.. but one hour only.. anyway, i think they have really upgrade the wireless bandwith la.. better now than previously..

eh, this week the speed is very bad la... my location is bandar tasik selatan.. not even 7Kb from rapidshare... demmm...
