Well my Account shows.....
[attachmentid=386629]
[attachmentid=386614]
The total DL+UL = 4.67236GB.... oh...exceeded... yeah man  thumbup.gif ......

U guys sure that the "expired" term is not referring to the payment? This account is currently used by my fren and he only complains that he cannot access Yahoo and MSn... but the speed remains great at >1mpbs average. I don't think the recent performance is link with this as Streamyx is also facing some issues.... i think something is going down in Cybie....

Hmmm..... agree man.... but i still think that they do not have that large groups of client to start this... it will only make Celcom and Digi stronger. But we will have to see.... it is obvious that their strategy is to limit the BW rather than charging the extra.... else, by law, if it involves $$$, they need to make a public announcement of at least 60days on the Rate, Terms and Condition if it has not been announced previously, b4 they can start charging.
[attachmentid=386617]
Up-to-date, I2Go is still running like fine, occasion dc (1 or 2 times) at 12:00 midnite, really strange.... dry.gif
This week is at 17GB for 7 days... should be more but been gaming everynite and not much torrent to d/l at the moment.....
[attachmentid=386630]

If you are getting ur own modem, go for I2Go package.... monthly basis and no contract.... u will not regret it.... forget about MaxisBB.....

are you sure yours is only 4GBs? tongue.gif

agree with you in some ways... if they start to be too controlling they just end up making the users feel negative and go to other ISPs...limiting bandwidth on things even other than P2P is already a bit too much... even Streamyx only shape their P2P traffic if i am not wrong.. i can't think when they start charging for extra traffic used.. there sure is going to be a public outbreak by many subscribers...

don't understand how it could effect both sides though... i checked and googled a bit and there was no news on any breakdowns on the AP Network or any of their undersea cablings.. strange... wonder how could 1 problem affect 2 ISPs.. unless Maxis is getting resources from TM like Jaring used to....hence both having the same issues...

yup I2GO is the way to go although might be a bit more expensive on the initial investment...

The modem is considered rent, and include in the RM68 already. If you wan to using WIFI at your home, just buy a normal WIFI router and connect to the Maxis modem will do. Hope this can help u.  tongue.gif

i think HuaWei already release another model of the USB modem called E2700 or something like that which is supposedly be able to act as a wireless 802.11x adapter as well.... any ideas when maxisbb users can expect this to come to them or if they get an upgrade for free? tongue.gif

RM68 is included the ZTE Modem right?....then connect this ZTE modem to WIFI router with RJ45 (network cable) then can use WIFI at home...correct? smile.gif but...
i) the problem is has to bring this ZTE modem on the go during travel / on car, the modem is quite big....and how's to powered the modem during on the go?
ii) ZTE using what kind of battery?....AA? AAA?.... rechargeable battery?.....
iii) cannot find detail for this ZTE modem in ZTE home page
iv) Is this ZTE come with USB port? If yes, then can I connect it to laptop by using USB port then online?

Is this RM68 package is just only 384kbps, so I no need to buy PCMCIA for HSDPA speed, right?....i just can buy 3G speed, right?
Sifu...help me again....any comments are welcome

1.16676e+007 KB means 1.16676 x 10(power)7 or 1.16676 x 10,000,000 KB
= 11,667,600 KB = 11.6676GB
your official "overused" is now at 8.6676GB. U should be happy....
lucky for me they only started showing from Jan2008.... i cannot imagine how my statement would be as i've completed using my 320GB HDD in 4 months.... blush.gif hmmm..... luckily wondering if they are monitoring the I2Go accounts too hmm.gif

err... i thought power 7 means 11.6676 times itself 7 times?

i myself is coming into the 3rd week from registration.... my download manager total DL is closing into 53GBs with the last 5 days having connection issues and less than 2GBs being received...yup, about the same as you i'd say... averaging 17GBs a week... imagine if we get the full speed of our connection... it'll not be that amount of traffic going through their network...

as for I2GO they can be monitoring but not let you know about it tongue.gif which i believe is being done now... 1 thing i can assure you they can't do anything to the subscribers is because they used the term "unlimited access" (this is on the main maxis page) and also "always on" (which i saw somewhere)... this 2 term according to a friend of mine who is working in a legal firm states that the user is able to access their services without limitations in time if not in traffic, so they should have no authorities at all at curbing the users of their traffic usage... that is his interpretation...

come to think of it... it is right also... what do maxis want meant if they state unlimited access but does not let the user use more than a certain amount of traffic.."You Can Connect To Our Highspeed Broadband Service after xGBs but You Should Not be Transmitting or Receiving" shakehead.gif

too bad they did not use either of that term in their maxisbb section...

a little bit confusing now..which is more good connection type UMTS @ EDGE? hmm.gif
as i state before,my connection type is turn from
UMTS with average rssi -75 rscp -80 ec/io -3.5 to
EDGE with static (which is not change) rssi -66 rscp -0 ec/io -0

but it seem my connection is more speed than before.. hmm.gif
ive test with maxis speed test n speedtest.net and the result look like improve (a bit..)

148kbps is not considered fast right?

have you set your connection to 3G or WCDMA only?

Added on January 25, 2008, 8:34 pmanyways... my connection seems to be back to normal with accessibility to my sites...a bit slower though...speedtest also indicates a slower DL speed...UL speed seemed improved a bit

Nah... the "e+007" is the equivalent to 10power7... same used in MicroSoft Excel (when the box is too small to display all the zeros)
If we get full speed.... i sure die spending all $$$ buying 1TB HDD.... rclxm9.gif
Let's hope your lawyer fren is right.....

Technically, best UTMS speed is at 748kbps and EDGE is at 368kbps. But i personally do believe that EDGE is more stable than UTMS..... of course ideally HSDPA tops it all. I think in your case is pretty much the same if UTMS is the best signal you can get. did you try to set 3G only to see if it helps?

btw... great speed now... measuring @ 1350kbps.... but somehow i cannot upload any attachment via LowYat.Net hmm.gif

for sure it is not fast,but it is okay la to wait about 1 minutes to load the page..
tonite my yahoo mail is available back.. rclxm9.gif

btw..how to setting between 3G @ WCDMA? hmm.gif
all i can found is to choose WCDMA n GSM..or GSM = 3G?

one think of my curiosity is about RSSI n RSCP..there not change..it is ok?
