Well my Account shows.....
[attachmentid=386629]
[attachmentid=386614]
The total DL+UL = 4.67236GB.... oh...exceeded... yeah man
......
U guys sure that the "expired" term is not referring to the payment? This account is currently used by my fren and he only complains that he cannot access Yahoo and MSn... but the speed remains great at >1mpbs average. I don't think the recent performance is link with this as Streamyx is also facing some issues.... i think something is going down in Cybie....
Hmmm..... agree man.... but i still think that they do not have that large groups of client to start this... it will only make Celcom and Digi stronger. But we will have to see.... it is obvious that their strategy is to limit the BW rather than charging the extra.... else, by law, if it involves $$$, they need to make a public announcement of at least 60days on the Rate, Terms and Condition if it has not been announced previously, b4 they can start charging.

Up-to-date, I2Go is still running like fine, occasion dc (1 or 2 times) at 12:00 midnite, really strange....
This week is at 17GB for 7 days... should be more but been gaming everynite and not much torrent to d/l at the moment.....
[attachmentid=386630]
If you are getting ur own modem, go for I2Go package.... monthly basis and no contract.... u will not regret it.... forget about MaxisBB.....

are you sure yours is only 4GBs? [attachmentid=386629]

agree with you in some ways... if they start to be too controlling they just end up making the users feel negative and go to other ISPs...limiting bandwidth on things even other than P2P is already a bit too much... even Streamyx only shape their P2P traffic if i am not wrong.. i can't think when they start charging for extra traffic used.. there sure is going to be a public outbreak by many subscribers...
don't understand how it could effect both sides though... i checked and googled a bit and there was no news on any breakdowns on the AP Network or any of their undersea cablings.. strange... wonder how could 1 problem affect 2 ISPs.. unless Maxis is getting resources from TM like Jaring used to....hence both having the same issues...
yup I2GO is the way to go although might be a bit more expensive on the initial investment...

The modem is considered rent, and include in the RM68 already. If you wan to using WIFI at your home, just buy a normal WIFI router and connect to the Maxis modem will do. Hope this can help u.
i think HuaWei already release another model of the USB modem called E2700 or something like that which is supposedly be able to act as a wireless 802.11x adapter as well.... any ideas when maxisbb users can expect this to come to them or if they get an upgrade for free?
