Reading all of this, good luck to myself then 😂😂😂 . Good thing is I work from home. So even my current condo traffic is worse here, not really affected by it as I only go out after rush hour.

It is still a nice place -- Subang is a lovely place imho.
This is still much better than Metropark (it is Shah Alam, not Subang despite what they kept advertising).

If you WFH mainly like me, you can somewhat avoid the jam if you are flexible enough with your timing unless there are meetings.
Sime said that they won't open an exit facing Persiaran Kewajiban, thus you have no choice but to go through the loop exit.
As long Empire (or Nu Empire now) sustain then it should be OK though the escalator still keep breaking down (been years), and I didn't like what they did with some of the food vendors chasing out Marutama, Go Noodle and a few non-halal options.

wah- so detailed even inclusive sketch on how the bounce lol.....
i always cant imagine this loop works.... sort of creative but not effecient use of space.

anyway.... traffic around Subang was terrible 15 years ago- then it short of improved with NPE and the access to FH....
now it is turning bad again
*
at midnights there were always some fellas treat that loop as racing circuit

it's gonna be worse once all these developments around the strip completed

so u count lah how many cars will be added up to the traffic in years to come

TOD concept lol... almost every dweller there got own car. summore if rent out to others meaning 1 household must have at least 2 cars.

Ironically all these devs/agents selling point is all the same - near to lrt/komuter and yet ...?

I can't even imagine how the heck Pinacle can have so many units with that miserable small piece of land.

that metropark is clearly batu tiga shah alam lol... I remembered back then that place used to be the factory of Chunghwa Picture Tubes

https://www.nst.com.my/property/2022/07/814...home-buyers-and

In 2012, Tropicana paid RM385.5 million to Taiwan's Chunghwa Picture Tubes (Malaysia) Sdn Bhd for the land.

yup, due to the bottleneck at the old batu tiga toll towards shah alam/klang

now it took around 30 minutes to drive from putra heights to empire subang via usj

faster if i take highway then exit at seafield

-------

Am I the only one who thinks that the traffic around subang ( and KV ) is kinda unbearable these days?

and dont forget about the Subang Ria park case

https://cj.my/13889/a-promise-unfulfilled-subang-ria-park/

31 years ago, a promise was made to home purchasers in Subang Jaya that they will be co-owners of the Subang Ria Park.

The Consumer Association of Subang Jaya and Shah Alam claimed that what happened after that is a classic case of administrative oversight, negligence, incompetence, greed, corruption and abuse of law.

The residents discovered in 2002 that the title to the Park had been transferred to the developer years ago.

The residents had made appeals to various politicians including the Selangor Sultan, the Prime Minister, the Menteri Besar, Member of Parliament and State Assemblyman.

Recently the owners, Sime Darby Properties have gone online to promote their development plans for the Park.

The stage is set for some bitter confrontation unless the Pakatan State Government for Selangor steps in to gazzete the 30 ha Park as a green lung for the people of Subang Jaya.

It was Shah Alam until 1996, since 1997 became a part of Subang Jaya.

Don't la, you close I won't get to go back hahaha. But ya, the U-turn is dangerous during traffic hours. The option should be to make those coming up from Federal to only be able to turn post that U-turn, rather than having them trying to wedge 3 lanes to cut into the U-turn area.

Nowdays I just go straight towards USJ and use the backlane through boom city and turn out from Petron instead.

There's hardly any accidents at the roundabout itself, but rather the jam is due to the spillover from entering Federal and idiots who jam up 4 lanes into 2.

Idiots in what sense? If there's 4 lanes but then becomes 2 lanes, cars would have to merge. Merging is the major cause of jams
