Put T20 salary demand, if they can pay then study if can take the offer. Else works with company with suitable AL, medical coverage for family.

As we all are growing older, possibility of medical leave is there.. and also limited AL.. but i know many are on PO package salary with no AL and no MC.

Received few emails from recruiter for this. 1st year salary will be under NES Firscroft. And checking the attachment, all with minimum standard on annual leave, MC and stuff. Medical not cover for normal clinic except hospitalizations

Are these terms for permanent or contract roles?

Only contract post for 1st year under NES. Then next year depends again when they swap to directly under Modec or if unlucky, not renew

Not sure about Modec but for regular Client, they need some minimum years of O&G experience for the post, even this comply to the Contractor working for the project

Generalizing the offer based on what i heard for Msians (direct hire employment i.e. with typical Qatar benefits)
~10yrs engineer likely QAR 18-22k monthly basic
~15yrs senior engineer / lead likely QAR 25-35k monthly basic

Dont know anyone getting Head or Managers position.

Of course, the range will be higher if one is getting daily rate employment esp 6days per week type, all in rate.

yes, hence maybe MODEC aiming local smaller companies employees instead of SBMs, MISC, Seatrium or likes.

Any feedback on what it's like working at PTTEP KL? Looking at interviewing for a position there.

In term of operating companies in Msia, it is probably the better option as many new PSC, potential new fields coming up in next decade or so.

Culture wise, it is Thai NOC so you know who is the bos.
