sure. the fd account is only linked to your saving account..
so the fund can go nowhere else except ur saving account and fd account |

anyone know how to change from auto renewal to non auto :-s do i hav to wait till maturity date to cancel auto renewal ?

There is an option to manage your efd in your m2u, although I am not sure it would be considered "uplifting" if you do this before the maturity date.To be safe, you can do this on the maturity date. I applied eFixed Deposit last night. Till now it still haven't subtract from my m2u saving account and no eFD shown in my list too ...
Normally take how long eh? |

not wat ever first timer or old timer
its instant u will get the receipt after u put if u put islam fd u cannot put 5003 or 5020 must put 5000 or 6000 etc |

I just put in the normal eFixed Deposit only.
It shows "accepted" with a reference number. But then after one day. Still nothing happen. |

when i was tried to create eFD @ M2U for the first time, the eFD account is not created instantly. i called maybank and the officer said this is normal for the first eFD, because they need to send the info to the branch where you created your saving account to process. it usually take up 2 - 3 working days. However, after the first eFD been created, the subsequent new eFD could be created instantly. My first eFD was created within 2 working days. After a month, i created 2nd eFD and it is created instantly.
