Super uber agree. The scene where Focker transformed his fighter to Battroid in the 1st ep of Macross zero in slow mo mode is perhaps the best scene of all macross animes, and perhaps mecha animes, for me. During that time when it was shown, it stunned everyone, as much how macross frontier impacted us now.

Basically Macross Zero was not really the best Macross series for me! macross original still the best, and for dogfights and plane design Macross Plus FTW! I still remember the part where VF-21 disarm his plane of all weapons and mechanical part to increase speed to launch the suicide atk on those AI plane! That was classic!

Its sad for me to see that the Gundam Thread has degraded to a spam fest and out of topic talks..

I dunno who to blame.. Bandai for degrading Gundam to a generic mainstream anime or ourselves for incapable to adapt to the current trends..

I'd blame both equally but slightly less on the latter if i was you.
