Vowifi dont need root, but u do need to use shinzuku method though.

Without root you can get 5G and VoLTE

To get VoWiFi you need to use Shizuku + PixelIMS. No need root. But some banking apps dislike Shizuku installed (UOB TMRW).

Just to inform that PixelIMS VoWiFi setting will survice a reboot until next software update. You can turn on VoWiFi via the method above then uninstall Shizuku.

Yes. I am using the above mentioned version. I am using UMobile Postpaid 68 version 1 with 5G support.

I noticed that my Pixel 7 Pro with a DiGi Postpaid 90 plan now supports a 5G connection. I think it was due to the 5 Dec 2023 Android Security update I was about to migrate to UMobile at the end of the month but I guess I don't need to now.

I must say the 5G DiGi coverage has been poor as a moved across the city.

5g with digi is sucks. keep switching between lte and 5g and this will drain more battery

it is supposed to work like that.
as soon as u idle for even a short while, will switch to 4G.
but as soon ask u start using, it will quickly switch bck to 5G.

to my understanding aren't all telco using the same DNB 5G infra, how come coverage can be different between telcos.
