ROAMING ISSUES damn,, i wish i found this forum earlier, was in japan for family trip and Indonesia for business trip can use roaming, using maxis with pixel 7. anyone can confirm its the APN setting issues and not the phone. maybe i should consider other network provider

how is the stability with using the pixel qpr. any major fault experience?

No issue for me so far with digi roaming and pixel series

Been to jakarta with p7p and digi last year with no issue. Same goes to hong kong and china with p7p

Japan will be my next destination next month

Thanks, i guess problems mostly lies with Maxis and their settings, and their roaming charges are not exactly cheap

Which APN did you use? If it’s max4g then you’ll have issues. You need to use unet for data roaming to work.

I'm using Pixel 7 with version AP21.240119.009.
Recently I notice I lost 5G for both Maxis (maxis_my-56000000008.18 2023-12-13) and Digi (digi _my-56000000006.18 2023-11-29), now constantly with 4G connection even though in 5G coverage. My other phone has no issue with 5G at same location. Anyone experience similar?

Having the same beta, using hotlink..recently for 5G always having data issue, it shows 5G with warning and no data available. Have to disable/ enable airplane mode, then working again.. sometimes its just unbearable and i just change setting to 4G and its stable again

Hi all, I recently came across this issue on microphone not working during calls when the phone screen locks; so far is on Whatsapps calls and also microsoft teams.

Particularly when i'm driving, and i receive a whatsapp call, first 10seconds is fine, then when i either exit to another app (e.g. waze) or when the phone screen locks after 30s, the other party doesnt hear me anymore.

Has anyone encounter this before?

I'm on Android version 14 version AP21.240119.009.

How is the Pixel 7 Pro performing now especially in the battery department?

March 2024 feature update. Hotlink 5G enabled on non -root pixel 7 Pro

Now the LTE logo changed to 4G

Pixel 7A March 2024 update build AP1A.240305.019.A1 has working 5G on Hotlink Postpaid with the default standard APN etc with zero changes.

Speed test was run around Pusat Bandar Damansara on the MRT.

Still don't have 5g on my Pixel 7 (non-pro), using hotlink postpaid.
