USB or Power adapter..

Both would be just fine, but obviously the AC adapter would be faster Just get the necessary converter from a nearby hardware store and you're good to go. Did the same here, couldn't stand the slow USB.


By the way fellow iPhonees, I've finally hopped onboard the HMS iPhones today, as of 3pm today. I'm a happy guy today Haven't stopped touching my new babeh since this afternoon, hehe. Oh boy, I sense that I'm not gonna be sleeping for the next few nights....

By the way guys, I did my share of googling on a particular problem I have now, can't find the answer. How do I add custom wallpapers and pictures without going through the iTunes Sync process just to have the image file added into the camera roll? Meaning, where is the exact directory location where photos are stored? I've tried under "/var/root/Media/DCIM/100APPLE/", but still the photos I upload here at 320 x 480 don't show up right in the camera roll.

Can anyone help or advise a different approach? Wanna add some new wallpapers too, including Nemo

Phew...finally able to got off the Raya festivities and get back here to see what's happening on the iPhone front.

Went to Epicenter Pavilion, not too shabby. In fact, they are the only store i know that carry iPhone cases, made by iSkin. Not my kind of case though, but others may like to give them a look.



Here's my current look on my iPhone. Turned off the icon labels, turned off the theme wallpaper and add my own. That way, any uninformed user will not be able to determine what icon does what, so i can somewhat avoid users from abusing my iPhone. And trust me, there are many who are keen to see what's on my Summerboard, this way, i'll keep the mechanics of my iPhone Summerboard to myself. Guess what icon does what?

The iPhone now resides on the Video iPod cradle , charging happily via USB. I cant use the old cradle that comes with the iPhone, since i've introduced the clear case/holster on it.

hey guys, just read up on the new 1.1.1 unlocks -- all the hacks work differently -- iphonesimfree being the first one to unlock after the phone has been jailbroken. Fortunately this method works through the baseband and will prob work for all future baseband/firmware updates (as long as its jailbroken); iUnlock and the other versions seem to work on a patch by patch basis.

could be worth the trouble to invest so we don't have to keep on waiting for patches as noone else has replicated their results (yet).

Modding the Summer/Springboard? Easy as pie!

Download your favourite theme from AppTapp/Installer.app , then you can customise it within Summerboard preferences.

Or do it like what wei does, make your own Springboard backgrouns and icons! Use an app called "Customise" and fire away with your own homemade icons.

That's known as a converter Converts the adapter's flat pins to the round ones which'll fit into any wall socket.
