Without google play install by default, can it transfer whatsapp message from ios to this phone?

But what is stopping you from installing Google Play and downloading Whatsapp?

Why do you need to sync those to your phone? Very simple. So you can access them to your 3rd party apps.

One REAL WORLD SCENARIO: If you are using Maybank, CIMB DUITNOW, you need to get the number from your contacts right? If your contacts are saved to GOOGLE CONTACTS, then you will NOT be able to access them directly from CIMB DUITNOW app because you did NOT allow Google Play Services on your phone.
