There is already global units in Shoppee, hnnggg but I'm afraid if it won't work with volte here

Nice, global ROM?

CN ROM.. which is 100x better than the Global ROM.

Why?

1. I can officially enable Google Play Services via Settings app. It's NOT a hack or workaround unlike other brands.
2. Once enabled, just install Google Play and install all apps directly from Google Play Store. NO issue with banking apps or Google apps.
3. Better UI than Global ROM. It has more features than the Global ROM. (Ex. Option to change notification tray like iOS)
4. Built-in Moto Device Shield app.
What is Device Shield app? You can
- clone app
- lock app with password
- easily enable/disable apps running in background
- etc
5. MONTHLY software updates. Yes, Motorola CN ROM is the highest priority vs Global ROM. You can easily check it from the official Motorola weibo account for software update status.

6. *I will just add more here*

Why you should NEVER convert to Global ROM if your phone has stock CN ROM?

One simple answer - you can NEVER UNROOT and NEVER update your software over the air. It will cause error and will not push through and potentially brick your phone.

Also, once you unlocked the bootloader of ANY Moto phone, there will a warning message every time you restart your phone. It will ALWAYS appear before the "hello moto" splash screen.

Of course don't buy a Moto China phone if you use any system language other than English or Chinese because these are the only 2 available languages on the phone.

Agreed with all his answers except for the haptic feedback. I like the new haptics when typing which does not *buzz* but feels more like a natural press (imagine Macbook's trackpad when you press it).

Does it work with Digi VoLTE?

Lol I am interested to know the volte & vowifi support as well. To be exact which carrier do support it for cn version and which doesn't.

VoLTE works using Digi.
Btw, it's not about CN or Global ROM, it's the phone itself. They both have the same model number (XT2241-X). X stands for the region.

XT2241-1 - CN ROM
XT2241-2 -potentially India and so on..

If CN ROM supports VoLTE, Global ROM will surely have the same.

If like that then not bad, much better than the dead edge 30 pro. See whether it will launch in Malaysia or not and then the pricing point.

Better the global rom also got the volte when cn rom have it. If not then really speechless. For me I won't even consider non Malaysia set, kind of worried after buy got issues then will be very troublesome.

This is the nth time I bought a non-Malaysia set.
Last time I had issue with my Pixel 5, the online retailer (T&L Telecom) just checked the phone if there is no damage (scratches, dents, etc). Once considered good, they took the phone and replaced with a new one (sealed) after a week. T&L staff told me they will just return the phone to the main source anyway and will also get the refund. lol


Not really bothered as long the online seller is reputable. I even heard horrible stories from Samsung flip owners who bought MY set and they can't even get the screen protector replaced (as part of the 1 time replacement warranty) due to technicalities in the T&C. Lol

Ya but the problem is x30 pro that are selling by online retailer now all are not reputable. My understanding of reputable are those that are operating for long like gstore, direct d, thunder match etc etc but none of them are bother with China x30 pro.

Even if they bring in probably I will think twice also because it's just my preferences to buy global set from official seller. For me if this device didn't bring in officially to Malaysia then I will just forget it.
