i quit mech kb around 2014? and recently started feeling itchy again.

my favourite switches then was 62g ergo clears, but then i switched to vintage blacks 58-62g (?) and fell in love with blacks. what are the switches that comes close to them? i also noticed in mechmarket that theres a lot of different switches name now.. im getting old, too many names to remember lah

back when i started collecting mech kb, acrylic custom keyboards were really bad, but nowadays i see a lot using polycarb material, i saw that the lin montage polycarb is really sexy, but seems to be hard to find, anything close to that you guys can suggest?

i am currently using a tecware tkl with gateron yellows (this one got me itching again). also is it still hard to get those 55g topres?

change to a lighter one lah hahaha

LOL unker just bought the first keeb, exactly what unker was thinking, when unker was getting the first mechanical keyboard.

Ended up getting the keychron k6 with aluminium frame via taobao, but kaputed in 7days and ended up replaced with a RKG84 pro (the aluminium base model).

Last-last after comparing my nephews normal budget RKG68, unker dun see much difference LOL

mkb passion/poison runs deep in Malaysia xd, cauz now we have stores like this when years ago we had nothing like it at all. Anyway this store looks interesting if you're an enthusiast.

these types of places are convenient, maybe they allow you to test them before comitting to a mkb. or you can just go to one the mkb meetups, the one i went to every1 brought their mkbs was interesting, even got to try a topre which was great

I went to the meetup too ... but didnt bring mine hahaha ...
there was incident that someone accidently took an artisan cap from a mkb in the event not sure if they found it or not in the end
but yes it is a good place to see and share thoughts on mkb

uh? it's just sad to know that things like this happened in a meetup.

hopefully they found the keycap ... maybe just fell on the floor
