keyboard magnets? is this similar to a maglev? where the train floats on the train tracks levitation? hmm.gif

My question is, does this fancy smancy floating serve any functional purpose? or just an excuse to look unique and charge you a bomb for it sweat.gif

it has optical switches + low profile, making it prone to double-clicking/chatter. Do google around to confirm it.

(i have azoth, not falchion)

Yes, that is why i am asking feedback any user of rog falchion? But according to review, chatter issue may be come from armor crate software, not sure how true is that.

if i read correctly, the issue is fixed with the latest firmware update? it should be good i guess. i only use armory crate for setting the rgb & oled only. nothing else.

btw i suggest for you to test the keyboard physically (if you havent), see if you like the keyboard or not. can get good deal during lazatda monthly sale (ike 7.7, 8.8, etc).

i got one plastic wireless mechanical with no rgb, 500mah already use it in office condition 7month from its arrival and still running. definitely not the 'best keyboard'

very much depends on your budget and the layout that you are looking for? 60%, 65%, 75%, TKL or full size.
For the budget end, Royal Kludge can be considered. They have some wireless offering.
Currently I have a RK61 which is working fine for the past year.

If you turn on lights, the battery isn't going to last very long.

Most popular maybe NuPhy Halo75 V2 or Halo96 V2 tongue.gif

Apparently rog software still weak compare to razer one, i had tested the physical keyboard in asus shop but they only demo red switch, not sure how does blue switch works. I saw the promotion in Lazada and Shopee slashes alot from 799 to 600+ and some even lower than 600. This keyboard consider expensive keyboard in term of not swappable switches. That why i would like to listen feedback from users haha...

Royal Kludge RK71 look attractive to me. 70% fit me perfectly. I use to have many full size mechanical keyboard from Microsoft gaming keyboard to Logitech to Razer and now to Armageddon. I hardly use the numpad section and now I feel annoying of full size keyboard that occupied my table space that I need to fit in for my ATX Tower, two 24" curve monitor, 2 laptops and one Raspberry Pi.

NuPhy Halo75 look nice but too bad it 75%. I prefer the top row key (F1, F2, ...) is merge function with the number key. Hardly use them too for gaming and streaming.

Lol, true, alot keyboard getting expensive due to new design switch, aluminium body, key cap, etc, thus buy those suit you the most. Falchion rx low profile switch unable do hot swap (it's switches are soldered). I like the 65% form factor and easy carry around when travel for business trip. Solid build though but armoury software sux lol

You can get a full aluminium 65% for slightly over 200 locally if you look hard enough.

a sudden influx of random keyboard brands with cookie-cut designs, particularly in the 75% layout. are they any good?
