I thought you had an appointment with Winson on Friday evening. He did not turn up on time or you made last minute changes?
It's worth a wait for 2 years warranty but you have to endure the hassle of manually open your gate everyday. My new gate will be ready by next week, so I'll have to wait until 15 May for the new DCMOTO.  yawn.gif

I missed his call and he's somewhere else already...so he came at saturday morning!
Yups, it's killing me for manually open my gate! because the bearing are too smooth and it move even there's small wind blowing...so I have to put some brick to hold it still... icon_question.gif
Hope time pass faster~ I think I'm gonna install it without stopper in the middle too.....saw many of them didn't install that too!

Alright, so Winson still reliable in terms of punctuality. Yes, manually open gate is such a hassle especially when your gate closes by itself.
Dont worry, time flies and 1 week is actually not very long. You're gonna install your autogate without stopper in the middle? It would look nicer without the stopper but dont you think your gate would shake by strong blowing wind and intruders might be able to force open your gate?

hmm, never thought of that before about strong wind....I think that wouldn't be a problem....
I think autogate are purposely just for hassle free, not for security purpose!
stopper are just for alignment, it only hold from the inside! nobody force open the gate to the inside(PUSH)! so with or without stopper, they are still going to force open it by PULL outside!

the only stopper I think is usefull are stopper from UNIGATE
the stopper hold from the front and the back!
it's trackless folding type! and the cost are over 10K

yeap~ I wish time flies faster >.<" raining days cause me more difficult to manual open the door~ doh.gif

That is exactly what I mean. Autogate purpose is not for tight security but at least it prevent someone from simply pull it open and walk in like nobody business. If gate can easily be open like in the video, why spend thousands of ringgit on heavy duty anti-rust wrought iron/stainless steel gate. Just leave it without gate like in the US. Save money on gate and autogate system.

David always trying to convince you use their brand Rienzo or "kappa" something sound like that!
and condemn about DCMOTO, also asked me if I watch the video at youtube? I said I found the video are so fake, and he said he was there...the video shot purposely just to show how weak are the moto! Personally I dont really believe it...maybe they hijacked it~

bout the welding, it's very common if ppl use special welding on stainless steel...if they using normal rod instead of stainless steel rod, that's mean they are newbie in welding!

Jo_da48, didn't you read the earlier post? watch the video over and over again, and you will find out this video are FAKE! I mean omg, look at the auntie? what kind of react she's trying to give? worst actor of the year~ notworthy.gif

You couldn't compare yourself with the theft, I mean that's your autogate, I'm sure that you wont use 100% of your strengh to force pushing it, but the theft will use their 200% of energy to make sure your gate are destroyed to let them get in easily... rclxm9.gif

for professional house breaker, they got all the tools to get in your house! nowdays, bosch and makita are selling their proud products, using only battery powered tools, and they will cut off all of your padlock easily....dont have to find any socket outlet~ whistling.gif

yeah~ I like the idea leave it without gate! but that could only happened staying in the rich garden, such as Gita Bayu or Country Height at Bangi,
I went inside the Gita Bayu before, and all the house are without gate, even with gate....it's only 1~2 ft tall, just for decoration purpose icon_idea.gif
it looks nice~ rclxms.gif

I use my full strength, because I want to check the mount on the wall. it sure are stronger than submerged system.

For house with balcony power, trip the mcb, and on it only when you need to use.

Yea, I don't trip the mcb, I installed another switch at behind the wall because I'm lazy to reach out DB everytime I want to use it....
as I said before....They dont have to use any power supply from your house anymore, grinder powered by li-ion battery are more than enough to cut anything!

I already installed my DCMOTO 905 autogate system yesterday. Installer was fast and efficient. Initially, I plan to install my autogate system the next or next 2 days after my gate was installed because I dont want to be so rush. Therefore, I did not make any appointment earlier but once my gate was installed, it keeps open and close by itself from slight wind blow. In addition, my gate do not have padlock latch on the outside and I also could not reach the inside padlock latch from the outside so it gives me problem of how to lock my gate when I'm away.
I made a last minute call to my autogate installer at 2pm and he came at 4pm. It took him about two and a half hour to install the whole system. I'm glad that he came at such a short notice.
My DCMOTO was installed without the siren and I'm kinda feel like having one. Do you guys think its necessary to have one? Please advised. biggrin.gif

Good to hear that you dont have to wait till 15 May. It's really torturing having to use bricks to hold your gate still. I cant even wait for 1 day so I just ignore the 2 years warranty. I did called Winson but he's too busy and he only free to come over on Saturday noon which he told me he already had an appointment in the morning. By the way, do you live in BMC and could it be you whom he mention?? biggrin.gif
My autogate system was installed by Mr.Lim from Spectra Alarm. The siren can be use as panic alarm just like your car. In case you see someone behave strangely in front of your house or you happen to see shoes thefts climb over your gate, thats when you can use it. I dont know if its really necessary but the function was there in the remote control and keypad.

Both, now in market got lots of cheaper alternative coming from china. If you hold and compare local vs china made, china made is much lighter for the same spec. I wonder why.

I think i have the answer smile.gif

I met a potential alarm supplier today (highly recommended by my colleague)...he was explaining to me about alarms and he showed me the difference between china wires and local wires...all he did was...

1) China wire : Lighted the Copper wires with a Lighter....it melted and fall off in a few seconds

2) Local wire : Lighted the copper wires with a Lighter....the copper turned red (like hot rods) but didnt melt and fall off..

I think this is the major difference...

He also mentioned...the main reason why, a lot of false alarms were caused by china wires......he then cut a piece of my existing alarm wires...and burn it...well..the result was...its china wires...no wonder i got a few times of false alarms in the middle of the night...I m not sure if he is correct...just sharing my information here with you guys on what i learnt today smile.gif

I think i m gonna get my alarm and cctv frm this guy...price reasonable..and he explains a lot of things..to the extend he took out his mini tv and connect the cctv cams to show me how clear it is and which angle and location to put my cctv cams in my house...Live Demo... smile.gif

I havent decided on my autogate yet..need some inputs smile.gif

anyone has recommedations for Sliding Motor that slides relatively fast?

I noticed many sliding motors are very slow...

I'm using Rienzo autogate system from GSS gateway through autogatemalaysia.blogspot.com. Being using it nearly 2 months so I guess it's still too early to comment. Anyway, the installer was very nice and cute too  laugh.gif. Upon completion, I was asked to fill in their customer's feedback form  thumbup.gif

Hi lhsmedphy,
Mind to share your experience with the Rienzo autogate (GS2000?) that you are using? How is the after sales service from GSS gateway?

Thank you.
