My dcmoto folding gate is having problem. 1 side cannot open or close. Initially when this happen, i gave it a push and it move. I open and close a few cycle and it was ok. Now it is totally dead. Any idea how to trouble shoot?

If never change backup battery b4 for more then 2-3 years. Then just change the main board then ur system shld be running as normal again.

Is your folding gate roller that is sitting on the rail working smoothly? Is there any damage to your DCMotor motor cover (white colour with green lever release). If there is damage in the cover can cause water to enter and damage internal component.

The roller is working well as I just change them not long ago. The motor cover also is ok. No damage.

Then the last resort is to get a technician have it check. Probably causes could be 1) wiring issue 2) motor/gearbox 3) main board (which is quite low chances)

More importantly, are you able to use the release key to manually push the 1 side that fails.

if the previous owner using deluxe autogate, can i engage other to come service or only can use deluxe?

Then you just have to get the yellow colour motor module replace to make it work again.

Problem solved. Luckily not motor problem. It is the wire joint outside the motor which is corroded.

Ha Ha ha forgot about chking the wire problem. Luckily didn't order the board to replace immediately

Depend on what problem. If autogate problem can source any experience technician to chk. If out of alignment or drop then better get those hv proper knowledge with trackless system to chk.

If under warranty then just get Delux technician to chk.

does anyone know contractor that able to provide services to re-paint the automatic gate? and roughly how much does it cost?

Does anyone knows.... Do we need to have the original remote for auto gate if the spare one is spoiled? My tenant is in Kuantan and the spare remote he is using is spoilt however i am now based in KL.... so can i snap a photo for him for him to do a duplicate? ( the remote is old type.... got number and can push up and down type) Anyone can advise?

I believe, this is the remote that you meant. Yes, you can just show the configuration picture of any of the working remote to your tenant ... It should work. Or the tenant can open up his broken autogate remote also to see the push button configuration.

Oh, another thing.. make sure the tenant select the correct frequency for the replacement remote. The frequency should be either 330Mhz or 433MHz..
