Hello kalian sifus, recently saw dongles in lazada claiming can make android auto wired become wireless. Will that really work?

I also saw this, but as usual, china stuff, not everything works. If it is too cheap, means most probably it will not work. cool2.gif

Pay RM90k for a Terukdah Alza, I am one of them. sad.gif

List of problems:
1) Smelly hot metal smell right after driving up Bukit Lanjan / Duta Toll at NKVE, smell like slip clutch pack.
2) Weird steering centre, very loose, a lot of free play.
3) ICC with lane keep assist keep driving like "snake".
4) Sharp plastic trim door handle (veloz only door handle), a cutting hazard when using it, actually peel the skin of my palm and bleed once.
5) Excessive vibration when accelerating pass 40-60km/h, you can feel the whole car rattling.

Any Alza owners facing these issues except for #4?

Stupidly managed to hit a curb in the rain. Rear left tyre sidewall burst, straight flat. After changing to spare - now got a squeaking sound when driving. Will definitely need to check - any advantage to doing at 3rd party workshop compared to service center?

Normally the rear suspension system is quite robust. Would suggest that you bought new rear types and switch back to your normal tyres first. If the sound is still there, then only go to check it. I'm suspecting maybe cause by the spare tire.

Better send for checking. Squeaking could be due to various reasons, either the abs mounting or some bush damaged due to the impact. Also could be sound from the spare tire compartment. Had a flat before but on other car and after the tire workshop replaced the flat with spare tire, some noise appeared from rear. Then send over to SC during service and told them about the noise. After service at SC, noise gone, back to as good as new. If you are sure the 3rd party workshop is meticulous on the works they do then send over there otherwise better to SC.

Workshop or SC... I think depends on how good your tire workshop that you trusted.

hitting a curb may cause something rosak, depends on how it hits.

Spare tyre or original tyres, it should be same as they are just rim and tyres.

possible you can do is, press/push the rear up down, to see if any sound..if yes, then need to see where the sound. 2nd is to jack up the rear side, turn tyres to see if got sound.

if just turning the tyre not giving any sound than it is not the spare rim/tyre. then need to troubleshoot where the sound coming from as potentially some part(s) bend or etc.

Thanks all, I managed to squeeze in a visit to SC. Checking was free, they told me no issue, everything looks okay. Will drive more and see if the sound recurs.

Sorry double post.

@LostAndFound, hope it is all resolved for you. Last 3 months, my rear right tyre runs flat when on the way to Melaka, a nail punch thru until no more air. Surprised me when the just roar during my 110kph on hiway. Donno mana kena the nail as before I start my journey, all 4 tyres are good which I normally checked before any distant drive.

Luckily, upfront is R&R, I slowed down to drive into R&R, replace it with the spare tyre and change this one into a used tyre as replacement. No point buying a new tyre with different brand. The inner side of the flat tyres all dusted with inner side wall residues.. no choice change to used tyre which will be as spare. Maybe later when need to change new tyres all round, swap into spare.. let's see.

Any reliable Alza workshop in PJ? My Alza mileage is very bad. RM 50 can travel 150km to max 200km. I suspect oxygen sensor rosak but they say no check engine light means no problem. Any workshop that I can send to check? Thanks.

Yeah, seems quite bad, cause around 6.15km/l to 8.2km/l unless you do a lot of sprint racing, else it should be more than 10km/l

How long since your battery in operation? Easiest way is to do a battery health check. The mechanic then can advice if need to change or still can use.
