Anyone using Goodyear Assurance Maxguard? Ayam using GY Assurance Triple max for my City (185/55/R16) at the moment and it's about time to replace them.

Triplemax macam wears out very fast.

How much km wears out? Did you always rotate your tires & do allignment on time? Is your suspension condition still good (absorbers, lower arm bush?) and how is your driving style? Always like to speed, heavy braking or go in corners high speed? A lot of factors can cause high wear out, from my experience of using Goodyear, usually their lower range tires last quite long until people complain of noise & crack due to hardern rubber compound over the years using.

Is ps4 perform better than ps5? I have come across some other series like Conti and Bridgestone, but it starts with 1k per donut. Considering vitour v01r as well but not sure how it performs on wet

Can read here more, some already put more details explanation. My simple idea, PS4 come with Traction AA rating while PS5 with Traction A only. Price factor is for me choose the ps4 again. Usually bought it at Oscar Bukit Kemuning for best price.

It is a fact PS4 perform more better, PS5 only good in better tread wear but because of this the traction performance drop.

If you want lower budget tyres go for middle range tyres like Falken FK520, Hankook Ventus S1 evo 3, Maxxis Victra Sport or Giti Sport S2

Most premium tires example like Bridgestone, Yokohama also same, due to rubber compound.
You want better performance, quiet and better braking performance you need to be soft, once soft if you drive in poor road condition a lot the rubber confirm will peel off, this is normal and will not impact overall tire unless it is worn down until the safety limit.

You dont like rubber peel off, get those cheaper tires with harder material compound but you loss on the benefits as per feedback above.

Michelin pilot sport 5 traction rating is A while Pilot sport 3 is AA. Is this because the Ps5 is designed to improve the other aspect of the tyre(such as threadwear) while sacrificing the traction?

Or is it because the PS3 was tested and given rating using different and older standard? Meaning if PS3 are tested today, the traction rating will be similiar to PS5 which is A?

https://www.michelin.com.my/auto/advice/cha...g-do-tyres-last

Max 10 years
After 5 years have them checked by a professional at least once a year.

Read, professional. Not some roadside tire shop will keep using fear mongering to tell you need to change after 5 years.
My tires most around 5~7 years now, always keep in good tire pressure, do proper allignment, rotation & balancing nearly every year.
Yesterday sent 1 of my classic 1971 beetle over to tire shop to rotate, balance the tires 2019 year still in good condition without any cracks or hardening. The tire shop say if did not always drive in bad road condition, keep under sun shade the tires easily can last around 10 years.

I change after 3-4 years. Even the remaining thread is still a lot.

If grip no longer good during braking, cornering and also less stability during wet. Then I would change.

Rubber could've hardened already.

I'm a slow driver btw, hardly speeding.
