I take it as a YES Terence.

Yup, me too. Was shopping in Carrefour and saw the pressure T-Rex stoplock that was priced for 600+ bucks. Anyhow, they have existing stocks already, you do not have to pre-order. Perhaps Terence you should go to Carrefour.

Might go for the Smartshop's lock. It will lock the brake pedal rather than the steering.

Hi emperor^10, I tint vkool elite, and for the rear spoiler, see the attachment. I dont like the duck tail type spoiler, coz look not so cool (no offense, juz my personal opinion) smile.gif

The spoiler RM550 (including the installation and paint work), my SA told me is a Mugen but i'm not sure yet, come with 5 years warranty (maybe outside is more cheaper, but the warranty period maybe shorter). Whereas the vkool is RM1800, so the total is RM2350. All the tint job and spoiler installation is in the Honda showroom.

Which showroom do you book your car from? Hmm, you can issue cheque for the downpayment what. You have to pay for service charges for bank draft FYI.

Okie, perhaps we shall organize an outting with all the citizen over this forum. I shall ask my younger brother to join along. He has also bought a new city.

But I reckon to get most of the things that were recommended by the SA because eventually he/she knew thing better than us. Though it might be a bit expensive ( I presume the different is marginal ), then I do not think its a problem rather than taking the risk to here and there which may cause you major damage in the future.

To me, I rather let Honda to tint my car rather than saving a few hundred bucks by letting the outside dealer to install for me. Anyhow, its really subjective on this issue. The respondent should decide by themselves wisely.

Walau, jinyee & terence got a pact going or wat??? rclxms.gif
hehehe... brows.gif

guys, hold ur horses... biggrin.gif
IMHO, (and it's only my 2 cents worth, coupled with some self-confessions from my SA frens...) it's kinda true that if we just let them deal with the car overall & just wanna get it with all the stuff attached, i.e.: spoiler, tint, skirtings, etc... nothing can beat the feeling of having ur brand new car all beefed-up & ready to "roll out"... thumbup.gif

However, as legend has it (no offence to any1) is that of course the additions will be charged slightly higher than market price, coz our SA frens still gotta make a cut, ma...
Quality could be an issue as well.
If we are not careful, sometimes, i mean, really, sometimes, we may be duped into believing that the stuff they install for us is actually worth that much...

Let me quote an example...
And this is my honest sharing, so please, don't get offended, anyone, ok???

I have this buddy who recently bought a Camry, u know la... how pricey... the SA (Toyota) also mentioned that he could do up the tinting.
My buddy at first rejected, but after kena persuaded with words like, "ur car, brand new, with all things attached oredi, no need to worry bout bringing it in to any other place to touch up anything anymore, no more hassles, bla bla bla..." so he gave in. rclxub.gif
Knowing very well another mutual buddy of ours has a tinting shop (not VKOOL but another reputable & steady brand), he still went along with the SA's offer for the Top-of-the-line VKOOL, paid extra RM1,200.00 instead of the usual RM1,700.00 (or something)... nod.gif
But after this brand-new Camry Owner brought his car to show us at one of our TT Sessions, we found out that the tint was done in our mutual buddy's tint-shop after all... rclxub.gif
Some more, he kena potong...
The price is only about RM800.00!!! mad.gif
Furthermore, our tinting buddy still has the original receipt he gave to the SA bearing the Camry's car number!!! vmad.gif
Imagine, RM400 into the SA's pocket...all with just a VKOOL sticker at the back windscreen... kanasai...
So, guys, beware...
That's why they call it "ownership"...
If u allow others to call the shots, u only own the bank repayments, not the vehicle... wink.gif
Cheers, to my 2 cents worth...

Klang got 2 branches, i go to the Actmar one for test drive but order my ride at another branch (Nanyang) biggrin.gif
Actmar's SA sxxk, refuse to give me nice discount, and that SA who serve me look quite young and seems lack of experience coz I try to ask some City's related question to test how far he understanding for the City and he not confidence to answer me, eg. I ask what is the pinch-free feature for the driver's windows and he told me City no have this feature only Accord and Civic got  shocking.gif

I told him I saw the City's spec from the Honda website and it was listed there, how come u say it dont have?? rclxub.gif After that he decide to go one of the City with me and test to find it out and confirmed that pinch-free features was there  icon_rolleyes.gif

That fella looks abit paiseh after that and say "yahor, City have this feature and seems u more understand the CIty than me"  notworthy.gif

The next day I decide to go to the Nanyang branch and see hows the SA there service.  My 1st impression for my SA is: friendly service attitude and experienced, able to provide me any information I'm asking.
*
I been to Nanyang too at that time. He offer me RM1k cash rebate. Why yours is lower, but I got another higher offer so I didnt take the Nanyang.
