I don't think they were lazy. I think they put it there so we can justify the increased MBA m2 price by comparing to the MBP 13 m2

If it didn't exist, we will be focused on saying the MBA m2 increased in price - by right it should be $999, replacing the M1 MBA. But instead, they kept the pricing across the board and increased their profit margin.

And you can see it is working, nobody said MBA m2 is expensive lol, when it actually is. MBA has always had an entry price of $999 until now.

Well, the entry level MBA M1 is still available at $999, so that’s their justification. Had they kill off the MBA M1 and started the MBA M2 at those asking prices then yeah, consumers will probably give them hell

when new one come out, it will take the original price, and the old one take a price cut.

No justification for having an MBA M1, a two year old lappy to be still selling at the same price when it was first released. It is not about our lousy currency as well cause the price in the US remains the same....

Yeah, there should have been a $100 price cut for the old M1. Anyways, lots of retailers are handing out discounts on the MBA M1 so those who really want one can hunt around.

There was a RM10 for every RM100 spent discount on Lazada during 6.6. Probably have to wait for 7.7 for next round of discounts.

expected due to the COVID/War/Fx/Inflations etc. don't expected cheaper price tho, not realistic. probably another 2 years to go and it will just stay the same situation or worsen.
