serious the pro with m2 chip is totally a joke... the existing of it seems to just to improve the sale of the m1 and m2 air.

is the macbook air m2 is better than the pro m2? coz spec wise, almost identical.

And the macbook air consider price increase? old model still same price?

Well, the based model is still RM4399, so no increase there. However the 8 core CPU and 8 core GPU model costs RM100 more than the previous M1 model but given it’s a new chipset and new design, maybe that’s justified.

Better camera, newer design, but smaller storage if compared with the 8 Core GPU M1 MBA.

of course air is better except less one fan.

the rest of spec, air is better than pro unless u want the touchbar.

air with m2 price increases.

Tempted to sell my M1 MBA to get the M2 MBA instead! I am really digging the midnight colour!

The "base" model is a 2 years old model... expect it going to be dropped at reduce price.

Might as well just get the Air since the spec almost the same except for the touch bar...

feeling they are replicating the ipad air m1 vs ipad pro.

But considering the fact that the Air doesn’t have active cooling, it might not be strong enough to sustain its speed over time longer time like the pro.

The pro’s display also seems to be better. Anyone has the figures to compare these 2 displays?

Does anyone know if you buying the mac from those shops like switch, can you upgrade the ram from 8gb to 16gb there or they only sell it as it is and don't do any upgrades???

last time pro's display is brighter at 500 nits. but now m2 air is the same already. so seriously no reason for one to buy the pro...

If not mistaken you can ask them to customize for you, but need to pay some deposit

Really disappointed with the pricing.
1k more than older version with pretty much the same spec except for chipset and the 1080p camera and the NOTCH.

*just found out the the newer MBP doesnt even comes with magsafe and still use 720p camera.

Ya, I think the discontinued base MBP 13 with M1 will probably be a better buy if the price comes almost as low as the old MBA - otherwise then probably the new MBA would be the better choice.

I think if you’re gonna customise might as well get it directly from Apple online
