Really disappointed with the pricing.
1k more than older version with pretty much the same spec except for chipset and the 1080p camera and the NOTCH.

*just found out the the newer MBP doesnt even comes with magsafe and still use 720p camera. doh.gif
*
expected due to the COVID/War/Fx/Inflations etc. don't expected cheaper price tho, not realistic. probably another 2 years to go and it will just stay the same situation or worsen.

Don't forget abt the 1080p camera. It has been complaints about the 720p camera on the M1 MBA, and now the M2 MBP also using the same old camera.

never just see the paper spec in Mac.....I has been using m1 MacBook Air since Jan 2021.....all good till now...no complaint

M2 base model enough for adobe software?
Like photoshop, illustrator, indesign, premiere, audition, etc…
Photoshop got picture editing around few hundred picture,
Illustrator for designing/editing which sometime involve complex effect.
Indesign variable date around 20k data, authoring book.
Also the screen crack solve?
*
never had screen crack issue. If you are pro user, better go for MacBook Pro 14" or 16"...don't look air

I don't think they were lazy. I think they put it there so we can justify the increased MBA m2 price by comparing to the MBP 13 m2

If it didn't exist, we will be focused on saying the MBA m2 increased in price - by right it should be $999, replacing the M1 MBA. But instead, they kept the pricing across the board and increased their profit margin.

And you can see it is working, nobody said MBA m2 is expensive lol, when it actually is. MBA has always had an entry price of $999 until now.

don't over analyze. no point. try build your own hardware and software and you will find the price is very good actually.
