Never ever consider mazda for anything to do with space. Mazda car is design for the front passenger and driver only. Rear and boot are meant for formality to fit into the definiton of sedan, hatchback, or suv

What is the difference between MPV and SUV?

What position is the car seat? Rear facing max recline then yeah. Most cars kantoi. Front facing makes things easier

i think the bigger question should be sedan / mpv (or mpv tat looks like suv like xpander & aruz)

u enjoy lugging stuff into the sedan boot

or find putting into a 5th door hatch in mpv/hatchback easier?

the problems with SUV
-slower than sedan with similar engine. Eg: crv tc is slower than civic tc. mazda cx5 is slower than mazda 3.
-less economical than a sedan since they are generally heavier and less aerodynamic compared to a sedan.
-costlier parts, tyres and other consumables compared to a sedan
-worse handling than an equivalent sedan. For example civic will always outhandle a crv. Mazda 3 also will outhandle a cx30/cx5.

Recline position around 3 for cx-5
2 for honda city and civic no problem at all. still got a bit of room left.
For reference 1 is max for rear facing config.

Maybe my car seat is huge and it's rear facing config that's why.
If turn to front facing then it's all fine.

It depends on many factor also, if your SUV and sedan is 5 litre beast, SUV road tax is cheaper 😁

But only if you have ever had to fetch old people, then you will know sedan and suv are never convenient for them. Literally any cars that they can just "walk" into is the best.

When own suv, will not return back
Yup suv > all , that why sedan market is shrinking
And all the future EV are mainly suv , means in future suv will dominate whole market on the earth for human kind.

dont think so, i just bought crv last year. drive like shit especially when taking corner, cant even compare with sedan.
Even my office bezza can take corner better than crv.

Yeah true. When i fetch older folks they get on and off better with the SUV. But Serena without the need to bend a knee here and there is the best

Just because it lean a bit more, doesn't mean it is inherently dangerous. As long as driven reasonably it is comparable to sedan. Who ask you to drive like shit?

To be fair alphard is for fetching people. as a van, it is failure. Serena here excels when u can fold the back seats.
