Well used to be a sedan fella then when using my wife's Aruz found it quite convenient to strap kids on and off their booster/ child seat. Changed to an SUV for myself and its easy on my old body to get in and out also
But other than that like the guy said above, sedan maybe more practical at times and a better drive. SUVs, the bigger they are, handles like people movers.

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ May 10 2022, 01:18 PM) You should look at how convenient Nissan Serena is. xD Just look at how big the doors can open. Kek actually me and my wife did survey the Serena. Yes that one pure people mover. Thin doors and seats a bit of a turn off. Other than that for that money and the space on offer, pretty good deal. Oh yeah lack of a spare tyre another turn off. Can add on by putting it at the undercarriage like a pickup. Shit if my wife was driving it and had to change tyres. In the end settled for SUV

QUOTE(0168257061 @ May 10 2022, 02:15 PM) For those who keep recommend SUV. Be specific also as to which model la. CX-5 cant lar. I tried to fit chicco nextfix zip max on seats behind driver. My driving position have to adjust to somewhat uncomfortably short because the rear legroom is not wide enough. And I am just 160cm+- LOL. What position is the car seat? Rear facing max recline then yeah. Most cars kantoi. Front facing makes things easier

QUOTE(miyakochan89 @ May 10 2022, 02:38 PM) just call the insurance helpline to change tyres lah. xD But only if you have ever had to fetch old people, then you will know sedan and suv are never convenient for them. Literally any cars that they can just "walk" into is the best. Yeah true. When i fetch older folks they get on and off better with the SUV. But Serena without the need to bend a knee here and there is the best Of course everyone's favorite Alphard will be the champion hehe

QUOTE(jaycee1 @ May 10 2022, 04:23 PM) A point to note if TS might entertain the idea of a compact 7 seater. If you have mounted 2 child seats in the middle seat, How to go into the 3rd row? Not until they are older and can seat themselves into the 3rd row. I wouldn't squeeze adults in the 3rd row in most compact MPVs and SUVs....unless you really hate your in-laws A compact 7 seater has almost 0 cargo room with all seats up. When u have kids, you have lots of crap to bring with you Yup true. Putting in child seats either end of the middle row where usually the ISOFIX or three point seatbelts are seals of access to the last row. Putting chlid seat in the last row might be too cramped also. Have to figure out the seating combination of your kids with the adults carefully before deciding to take the plunge on an SUV
