expect packages of 300 mbps and below to be more affordable . packages of 500 mbps and above may come with mandatory bundles for new subscribers to maintain ARPU.

Just curious, but with some subs increasing their pricing, restricting pword shares etc.. are we honestly thinking that Unifi (or any other provider) can offer cheaper/i.e. ‘better’ offers?
*
i think they hv some room to improve pricing on the higher speeds - 800, 1000, 2000.

becos majority of these customers typically use full speeds intermittently only.

overall load at any given time unlikely to be maxed out so easily.

100, 300... not much room.. i doubt they can lower price since much of the bandwidth is used most of the time.

more n more households are using more n newer devices at higher speeds now, unlike 10 years ago.

Yeah but that rm119 is SWU offer right? This TV offer only for those who want to switch to UNIPAI from other ISP.

idm paying RM129 for 100Mbps , but need some clarifications / reviews from peeps here

I believe it to be true.
We just don't know if it will be early September or late September.

In that advert, there's a clause mentioning #T&C.
If you have access to that advert then PM/DM them and ask for the full T&C to be sent to you. Read it and you will know what's the catch.
Nobody here can comment properly without the availability of that T&C.

Next is whether you can accept the penalties/"catch" outlined in that T&C. Friend, nothing comes for free - it is whether you accept the bind/penalties or not.

ya, better go TM Point to check.

the new packages have dropped "old ultimate" priced at rm60, no more... old ultimate joins legacy.

the new ultimates, Plus n Max... some indication that Plus stays at original RM99.90, while Max will be incr to rm134.90 - in Oct.

maybe due to HBO added in sep; HBO Go in Oct.

promo price in Aug was RM69.90, 89.90.

above unconfirmed, unofficial info! tongue.gif

Asked both the agent and TM Point

For agent, they said need to wait for 14 days after the installation done

For TM Point, they had no idea and asked me to enquire directly to the agent themselves

That's not T&C. That is merely word of mouth. Without it, it does not have any legal binding to it.
Terms and Conditions (T&C) is written in Black and White/Paper with proper header/letterhead etc and signed by both parties. Please understand this carefully as this is something everyone should know if they are being asked to sign on an official document.

The fact that TMPoint push it back to you to deal with the agent, don't you think that's risky ?
What's the written guarantee the agent will honor the deal after 14 days ?

You are right, there's no black/white on paper to guarantee the free TV sweat.gif

All they said were, "we have photos and reviews from our happy customers that received their TV"

well thank you for the insights, I rather wait for 'new offer' for this September

After having some hiccups with my trusty ASUS RT-AC86U, I’ve decided to use the Unifi-supplied DIR-X3060Z mesh routers.

One question : since it’s using TM’s firmware (am I right?), no FW upgrades are needed in the future, is my assumption right?

In a way - I can’t use DLink’s FW updates anyway right?
