Then bring the transfer ID to TM point to proceed port out process
TM counter offer SWU 2.0
Am i right?
*
yes..tm officer request to fill in a form ..later they ask wat offer ..then counter offer better offer and they write down in the form ...if agree to accept ..
order number withe rejected transfer ..

after 2 days maxxx called they receive reject pot out ask wat reason ...after given reason they say will close request service ...

today i msg fb chat ...show them the letter..after a while they created order installation number ..

QUOTE(ideaplus @ Sep 7 2022, 07:03 PM)
Haha, not la
Only i can't imagine such small matter (convert to SWU 2.0) took 5 days to process
And I didn't realize got such a position aka Unifi Care Crew need to present himself to my premise to "activate" SWU 2.0
I thought small conversion process can be done by Unifi system  biggrin.gif
*
if small matter ...no need personal walk in tm point to request such offer ...
haha....

thanks ..

well i am talking about realistic better offer in short term. not u wait 10 years type. this one, u wait 10 years maybe need swu20.0 baru have  biggrin.gif

Realistically it is still possible. It's just that their pricing is mess up with 101 type of price for each plan to cater to different customers, and now Maxis also do the same trick to counter offer.
Don't tell me only Mr Gobin can force them.

You port out with Maxis letter, Unifi can't reject you to port out even they don't counter offer you. Go appeal.

lionsgate is a add-on? their horror or thriller movies are always nice. haha.
yeah indeed. remaining contract free and enjoy nothing (price discount, freebies) lagi more lugi.

since at this age, no one can live without fibre broadband.  tongue.gif one no matter how needs to have one fibre broadband subscription at anytime anyway unless u are not the one paying. haha.
*
Haha im a loyal TM subscriber since streamyx early day till now but latest contract is quite strict where you have to pay for remaining months instead of 500 before this. Of course as long as I live in Malaysia will never unsubscribe from them but what if one year from now I want to migrate to somewhere else? But of course like others said no one is forcing me to take it haha my bad.

unifi
QUOTE
If you terminate your unifi package within the contract period, you will be charged with the early termination penalty fees which is the full subscription fee of the remaining contract period

maxis
QUOTE
There is a 24-month contract period starting from the subscription date, not the delivery date. Device remaining balance will be charged if any of the following occurs during the contract period:
    Termination before contract ends
    Transfer ownership
    Relocation to non-serviceable address
Downgrade from original Fibre or Home 4G WiFi entry plan
Cease to be a Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & Fibre or Maxis Unlimited Postpaid & Home 4G WiFi subscriber

celcom
QUOTE
For any registration before 17 February 2022, you will be charged a termination fee of RM500 (non-prorated). For registration on 17 February onwards, you will be charged the remaining months of the contract period or RM500, whichever is higher.

Umobile fibre
QUOTE
Yes, there is an Early Termination Penalty of RM500 for Any termination performed if while you are still within contract period.

Digi fibre
QUOTE
There is no notice period for termination. A RM500 penalty will be imposed for early contract termination. Equipment is required to be return to Digi. If you fail to return Digi’s Equipment or if you return the Digi’s Equipment in poor condition, you will be charged a fee of RM500. You must ensure that all and any personal and confidential data/information has been cleared from the device, Digi is not liable for any loss due to Personal data leakage from any devices returned.
For customer who paid deposit upon Digi Fibre sign up, Digi will send a cheque to your address 3 months after your termination has ended. If you have any outstanding bill, Digi will use the deposit to pay the bill.

TNB allo
QUOTE
There will be penalty of RM 500 if you ask for termination before the contract end

Time fibre
QUOTE
If you are still within your 24-month contract period, you are subject to a RM500 early termination penalty (ETP).
well time got online exclusive non contract plan(RM400 upfront fee).
Source: respective website faq as of 08/09/22
TLDR: only digi, time, allo and umobile charge flat 500 for in-contract termination. celcom is even worse than unifi or maxis for new user.

Anybody tried to terminate Unifi after 1 or 2 months after migration fron Streamyx to Unifi 30mbps at RM69 (perpetual + contractless)?

Is it really contractless? no hidden TnC?

Time, you pay the termination fee, 400 or 500, upfront so you can cancel anytime without any penalty.

Hmm I got my unifi contract renewed recently. I checked my recent bill and i see they charged me iptv omo, i didnt subscribe to that since one with unifi.

I was told it was bundled wtf. But i recalled i told the front desk officer no iptv is needed for my new package, wondering if anyone managed to not subscribe to iptv which costed RM30 a month. Make no sense to me now to pay RM129 for 300mbps and RM30 for iptv, errmmm what is the different RM159 for 300mbps

If you can't get it, move to another ISP.
