No free meal without doing anything. Don't take it if can't accept the terms.

Since you have finish contract, I would suggest you visit a Tmpoint and request for Staywithunifi plan. It is cheaper than the upgrade package in My Unifi app, but only can get in Tmpoint.
Do read up few pages back to understand the plan.

buy a better mesh wifi routers and get the best spots to place them will be better.

i prefer the black colour and look of dlink 1860z but i prefer the brand of zyxel haha.

what model did u get eventually. i got the zyxel one.

yes, very important to have spare, at least now i have one linksys mesh unit spare in case of any of my other mesh units are down.

also have the free zyxel from unifi as ultimate backup also. haha.

yeah indeed. remaining contract free and enjoy nothing (price discount, freebies) lagi more lugi.

since at this age, no one can live without fibre broadband. one no matter how needs to have one fibre broadband subscription at anytime anyway unless u are not the one paying. haha.

any broadband packages less than 100 mbps should be banned for fibre internet. minimum packages of our neighbouring countries start with 500 mbps. TM won't entertain anyone of you here because it is a monopoly . you should comment on the Minister's facebook if you want a fair price. ask the minister to ban any packages less than 100 mbps . the more commentators the merrier

Stupid TM offering only bundling for higher speed plan.

I hate this tactic.
500Mbps/100Mbps RM249 includes discount -RM60 for the bundled tv pack.
So even if I unsubscribe (thinking I can save RM60), it will end up same price RM249 after removing tv pack. And that, if TM even allow it to be unsubscribed.

"Triple-play" service my ass. It's just another tactic to say we can't subscribe only internet without paying hefty charges.

IIRC broadband only offer can only get in Tmpoint for Staywithunifi.

Definitely can, it's still lesser than food menue inside a kopitiam. You just tell what you want, when they agree to offer you they just go through their system and key in accordingly.

It's not about higher speed only, but also congestion issue. What if TM offer the whole malaysia 1gbps, but every night congested and slow speed? will people be happy? Right now they don't even offer symmetrical speed.

just get the SWU 2.0 300Mbps deal if u have no more contract for ur unifi.
work out to be rm102.56 nett (included SST) per month for 300Mbps for the first 2 years.

After that will be rm129 (before SST) per month for 300Mbps which is still 'reasonable' price to pay for the speed comparing to any current offer.

300Mbps speed is not exactly great but more than sufficient for any household...
